This is Songdo Jonghap Eosijang (송도종합어시장), where I grabbed lunch before heading to an event at Songdo Convensia. There are plenty of sashimi restaurants in Songdo, but a lot of them are on the pricier side — not exactly the place for a casual lunch plate of raw fish. Songdo Jonghap Eosijang's lunch set is just ₩12,000 per person though, so it felt totally approachable. My husband and I went around 1pm.

Where is Songdo Jonghap Eosijang, and what about parking and hours?
Songdo Jonghap Eosijang is located at 165 Haedoji-ro, 1st floor, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon. It's right in front of Songdo Xi Harborview and Songdo The Sharp Harborview Complex 14, near the Korea Coast Guard headquarters, so it wasn't hard to find.
It's also close to Songdo Central Park, G-Tower, POSCO Tower, and the art center, so it's a convenient spot for anyone looking for a meal in Songdo. It also works well as a pre- or post-event meal for Songdo Convensia — honestly, it was perfect timing for me before my Convensia visit ^^
- Parking: 2 hours free; entrance is on the right side of the building's front
- Hours: Daily 10:30am–12:40am, open 365 days a year
Live fish tanks at the entrance
At Songdo Jonghap Eosijang, you can see the fish tanks lined up even before you step inside. Being able to see the live seafood in person gives you that sense of trust you want walking into a sashimi restaurant. The tanks were kept clean, and seeing fresh seafood right from outside had me thinking, 'how good is the sashimi going to be today~~'

I liked being able to check the fish's condition right there. Freshness matters most at a sashimi restaurant, and a place where you can see the tanks directly definitely put my mind at ease. Actually, right as I walked in, they happened to be moving fish into the tank — so, confirmed fresh ^^

Menu lineup and autumn seasonal dishes
The menu ranged from single-fish options like flounder, rockfish, mullet, salmon, and flatfish to assorted sashimi platters, seasonal dishes, seafood, and sushi. Some items even came with a takeout discount — a full ₩3,000! But what we came for that day was the ultimate value pick: the lunch sashimi set.

Since it's fall, seasonal items like gizzard shad sashimi and salt-grilled king prawns were listed separately too. It's exactly the season for gizzard shad~ and the shrimp have gotten noticeably bigger too. Since the seasonal seafood changes throughout the year here, I'd love to come back for gizzard shad or yellowtail season.

How much is the lunch sashimi set, and until when can you order it?
The lunch sashimi set is ₩12,000 per person, minimum order for two. It includes sashimi, sushi, sea squirt, fried shrimp, steamed egg, seasoned vegetables, spicy fish stew, and free access to the self-bar. However, it's not orderable after 2pm, so anyone planning to have the lunch set should double-check the time before heading over. That's exactly why we went around 1pm.
There was also signage near the entrance highlighting the freshness of the seafood.

Country-of-origin labeling was also posted separately. Flounder, rockfish, flatfish, mullet, and more were mostly labeled as domestic. It's reassuring to see origin labeling clearly displayed when you're there for sashimi.

Dining room size and the free self-bar
It's clearly a popular spot for delivery too — staff were busy prepping large delivery orders one after another. The dining space itself was bigger than expected. There were plenty of tables, it looked good for group visits, and staff responded quickly, which made the service side satisfying too.

First, the lunch set items came out — minus the spicy stew. It started with warm seaweed soup, which was a nice way to warm up before diving into the sashimi.

The basic side dishes are self-serve.

Seasoned vegetables, garlic, peppers, kimchi — whatever sides you needed, you could grab them yourself from the self-bar. I actually prefer this setup. You only take what you need, so there's less waste too.

Looking at it again, the lineup is pretty solid. For ₩12,000, that's genuinely good value given how much dining out costs these days.
And above all, the wide dining room didn't feel cramped. It seemed like a good spot for families or group meals in Songdo, and the tables were spaced fairly generously.
There was also a good variety of single-fish and assorted sashimi platters, so it seemed like a solid choice for a proper sashimi dinner too.
Takeout discount and the review event
There was also signage about the takeout discount and a receipt review event — a free drink! It said select menu items get ₩3,000 off for takeout orders, with seafood and special menu items excluded.

The restaurant emphasized freshness of the sashimi throughout, noting that they go through a large volume of fish, which keeps turnover fast. Looking at the volume of delivery orders and in-store customers, that turnover claim definitely checked out ^^

Sea squirt, fried shrimp, sashimi and sushi
First up was the sea squirt. That distinct ocean aroma hit right away, and the springy texture was great for waking up the appetite.

We ate the fried shrimp right away while it was hot. The batter was crispy and packed with shrimp — an easy, crowd-pleasing item.

Even as a lunch set, the portion of sashimi was better than expected. It was just right for two of us to share for lunch, and the fish looked clean and fresh.
Having sushi alongside made the whole meal feel much more filling than just sashimi alone.

Overall, the lineup felt quite substantial for the lunch set price. With sashimi, sushi, fried shrimp, steamed egg, sea squirt, seasoned vegetables, and basic side dishes, there was a good variety to work through.
The sashimi slices weren't too thin — just the right thickness. Good chew, clean taste, no fishy smell at all.

I like eating sashimi plain, but this clean, fresh fish was also great with a light dip in chojang (sweet-spicy vinegar sauce).

The fried shrimp was crispy and fresh out of the fryer, still hot! Having fried shrimp included in the lunch set meant nothing about the lineup felt lacking.
The sea squirt, full of ocean flavor, was great dipped generously in chojang, bite by bite.

Eating the sashimi together with the seasoned vegetables, which were coated in bean powder, gave it a whole different flavor — tangy, spicy, and nutty all at once.

The steamed egg was soft and warm, a nice thing to eat between bites of sashimi.

The sashimi stayed clean and fresh all the way through, so I enjoyed it right to the end.

Dipped in chojang, too—

Spicy fish stew on request, plus added potato sujebi
We also enjoyed some as wraps in various ways ^^ After eating a good amount of sashimi and sushi, we asked a staff member for the spicy fish stew separately. Instead of everything coming out at once, the flow was: eat the sashimi first, then request the stew whenever you're ready.

When we asked for the stew, we also added two servings of rice and some sujebi (hand-torn potato dough)! Chewy potato sujebi ^^ so good~ You need spicy stew after sashimi for it to really feel like a proper sashimi restaurant visit, haha. With rice and sujebi added into the stew broth, it was a pretty filling lunch. We finished it all off cleanly with a glass of Coke.
Who the Songdo Jonghap Eosijang lunch set suits
Songdo Jonghap Eosijang has a spacious dining room, quick staff service, and — most importantly — fresh seafood you can see for yourself in the outdoor tanks, which built a lot of trust. The lunch sashimi set in particular, at ₩12,000 per person, is a solid choice for anyone in Songdo wanting sashimi without breaking the bank.
If you're looking for a sashimi restaurant in Songdo and want more than just plain sashimi — sushi, fried shrimp, steamed egg, and spicy stew all in one meal — this place is worth checking out.
