Suwon Gosaek-dong café breakfast set before 10am: Orange Bagel

Today I visited Orange Bagel, a Suwon brunch café where you can try all kinds of bagels! Let me show you the spacious New York-style vibe along with the menu and souvenirs on offer :)

Parking and how to reach Orange Bagel (15-minute walk from Gosaek Station)

Orange Bagel's exterior stands out from far away, so it's easy to spot this Gosaek-dong, Suwon café. The brick facade gives off a strong exotic vibe, and it's about a 15-minute walk from Gosaek Station on the Suin-Bundang Line.

I visited around 10am on a Sunday, and the parking lot was spacious enough to park with plenty of room to spare. Since the lot is right in front of the store, it's convenient and hassle-free.

As soon as you walk in, there's a souvenir shop-like corner on the right where you can browse all kinds of goods. Pens, magnets, T-shirts, and other items with a strong foreign feel are all up for grabs.

Orange Bagel menu and the ₩7,500 Good Morning Set

There are signature drinks like the orange americano and orange bianco, plus lemon ade, choco latte, and more. You can choose your coffee beans by nutty or acidic flavor profile, and it was nice to see decaf beans available too, for people who can't handle much caffeine!

There's a wide variety of bagels, and since there aren't that many stores this big, I'd recommend it as a spot worth visiting near Seoul in Gyeonggi. You can enjoy clean, classic options like plain, everything, blueberry, and mocha bun, all the way to more flavorful bagels like pepperoni, potato, corn, salmon, and jambon-beurre.

From opening until 10am, you can enjoy the ₩7,500 Good Morning Set. It comes as either americano + plain bagel + cream cheese, or plain bagel + mushroom soup — great for an early-morning Suwon brunch café. Orange Bagel also packs your order in an orange gift box if you buy four bagels. It feels a shame to enjoy such delicious bagels alone, so it's also great for gifting to friends or family!

Seating at Orange Bagel: first floor, second floor and rooftop

The New York vibe runs throughout, but the 1st floor, 2nd floor, and rooftop all have slightly different atmospheres in this large Suwon café. On the 1st floor, the seats are to the left of the display case, and a glass wall makes it look even brighter and more spacious.

The 2nd floor has the most seats. Depending on where you sit, the color and mood shift a bit, and there are group tables too, which was nice. With windows in several spots, the light pouring in between them makes the space even more atmospheric. I genuinely struggled deciding where to sit,,!

There are also seats with a red accent that feel like a sofa area — pretty unique. Outlets are scattered around here and there, and there's a restroom on the 2nd floor too.

The rooftop, with a view of the sky, feels like the perfect spot for the coming season. The brick-look walls even have some painting on them, giving it a strong overseas feel. Since there's a staircase leading straight up from the 2nd floor, I'd like to try sitting up here next time!

Which bagels to order: Laugen butter, corn and deep choco

No worries if your bread cools down partway through — there are ovens on both the 1st and 2nd floors so you can enjoy it warm to the end. Just note: no parchment paper or plates allowed inside, only the bagel itself.

I enjoyed the Laugen butter, corn, and deep choco bagels along with an americano and a caffe latte. One drink was decaf, but both had such good coffee that I finished them happily to the last drop — this is also a genuine coffee spot worth visiting in Suwon.

The corn bagel has corn and soft cream on top, with a crispy texture in the middle too. The deep choco bagel felt less like a cream flavor and more like a clean yet rich chocolate taste. All three bagels I ordered had great individual character, so my hand kept reaching for more, and they went perfectly with coffee~!

The Laugen butter bagel has butter tucked between the bread, and it wasn't greasy at all — just the right amount of sweetness with a salty kick that made it delicious 🫶 The bread itself had a springy, satisfying chew, and I feel like I could come back to a place like this often!

It's also great for gifting, so next time I'll come back and pick out the Laugen butter along with other bagels to pack up. If you're looking for a Suwon bagel spot with great taste as well as atmosphere, I recommend Orange Bagel in Gosaek-dong!
