Introduction to the Yeouido Han River yacht experience

Yeouido yacht experience

A little while ago, it was election day, so we got a bonus Wednesday off, right? Going far away for a day trip felt like too much, but I still wanted to feel like I’d gone somewhere. So I looked for an unusual yacht tour. It turns out there’s a Han River yacht experience where you can enjoy things luxuriously right near home. Once I found this little gem, how could I possibly sit still?

I booked it without hesitation and zipped straight over to Yeouido.

Sailing Paradise, near the 63 Building

The hot spot we visited was Sailing Paradise, located near the 63 Building. Han River Public Parking Lot 1 is practically right in front, which was so convenient. For a Seoul activity with no parking stress, this is absolutely the place.

I chose the 1-hour course, which is currently ₩50,000 per person. If you just want a quick taste, they also have a short 30-minute course.

The kind owner thoughtfully gave us snacks and wine, too. They provide a Bluetooth speaker as well, so you can enjoy the Han River in a great mood! We boarded at 5 p.m., just as the sunset was starting to color the sky. Since it was the day before rain, the sky view was playing a little hard to get, wasn’t it?

If it had been clear, the photos would have been absolute life shots, so that was a tiny disappointment. Still, enjoying the Han River privately with the river breeze on my face felt properly healing.

I’d only ever taken big cruise boats before, so this was my first private yacht tour. We booked an hour, but the owner let us stay on for another 15 minutes! At this price and with this setup, it’s definitely worth coming at least once when you want to treat yourself. I fully approve of it as one of the best Han River yacht experiences in the city.

What’s inside the 12-passenger Humin yacht?

At the marina, I saw that there were boats in different sizes depending on the number of people. They had a whole lot of high-quality boats in various styles, and the one we rode was the 12-passenger Humin!

And the most fascinating thing was that the yacht even had a cozy bedroom space where you could get some seriously sweet sleep.

I was even surprised to find a clean bathroom on board. It was my first time trying such a luxurious Han River yacht experience, and I just kept gasping in amazement! It’s perfect for a romance-filled yacht tour with someone precious.

Han River fireworks festival tour information

While making small talk with the owner, I got some top-secret premium information. Apparently, this is the prime spot for the Han River fireworks festival held spectacularly every fall.

Guide to a prime Yeouido fireworks festival viewing spot

The owner said you can ride out to the middle of the Han River and watch the Yeouido fireworks festival right in front of you. They take you out for about five hours, and it costs around ₩1,000,000 per person. It might sound a little steep at first, but it would be a memory you’d never forget, right? You can enjoy the Han River fireworks festival from a prime spot without being swept up in the crowds, so I’d say it’s worth the investment.

I’m putting getting a life shot here on my bucket list for this year’s Han River fireworks festival schedule already. It’s a chance to experience the fall Yeouido fireworks festival highlight properly! I think I’d cry if I spent a romantic night watching the Han River fireworks festival with beloved family or a partner. If you want to become a fireworks fairy at the fabulous Yeouido fireworks festival, remember this and make a reservation.

The best time for a sunset and night-view yacht tour

If you want to make a special memory this weekend, you really should go. As someone who experienced it firsthand, I’ll generously share one little tip.

Come around 7 p.m. and you can properly take in a dreamy sunset view with the sky blazing red. Or come around 8 or 9 p.m. and enjoy a night-view yacht tour while looking at the dazzling city lights.

Wrapping up the Yeouido yacht tour

This is the answer when you want to escape a boring daily routine: a Seoul activity that feels restorative as you breathe in the cool night air. I’m naming it a healing hot spot. I’ll be spreading the word while looking forward to the day I watch the Yeouido fireworks festival live from a Sailing Paradise yacht. When the crisp autumn wind arrives, I’m firmly determined to return to match the Han River fireworks festival schedule. This healing place gave me the best yacht tour of my life, so don’t miss it—go for sure.
