Condensed milk salt bread, 4,000 won, at Seongsu café LOOOP Bakery

I was looking for a big café open late after dinner in Seongsu, and that's how I found LOOOP Bakery!

Where is LOOOP Bakery, and how far is it from Seongsu Station?

LOOOP Bakery is about a 5-minute walk from Exit 4 of Seongsu Station! It's an easy stop if you're already popping in and out of pop-up stores or shopping in Seongsu-dong, and the access is great (Dior Seongsu and Cha Baek-do are close too!!)

What catches your eye first from outside is the design, like a gift box wrapped with a ribbon! So pretty~

The first thing I noticed walking in was just how spacious it was! Clean white interior, a really tasteful logo, and even branded goods on display — so cute,,⭐️

There's a restroom inside the store and another one outside on the 1st floor, but the inside one is kept cleaner, so keep that in mind!

What time does the bakery fill up? The display at 9:30pm on a weeknight

Just so you know, the café opens at 9:30am, but the bakery items are restocked gradually starting from 12pm, so keep that in mind before visiting! They had strawberry cake even though it's summer?! The price was a bit on the higher side.

This is the bakery cake situation around 9:30pm on a weekday. I heard the agajak (crunchy) cake is famous too, but since I came late there wasn't much variety left, ㅠㅠ There are also vegan bakery items, so keep that in mind! (I picked one without realizing it was vegan at first, and the owner kindly explained it might taste a bit less rich, so I switched to something else.)

Right as you walk in there's a four-cut photo machine!! Shooting and sending the files are both free, so make sure to take one~ It takes a little while for the QR code to appear, so browse the bread while you wait haha

LOOOP drink menu: which coffees can you order?

You order at the kiosk! The coffee lineup covers espresso, hand drip, and cold brew, and there are plenty of teas and non-coffee drinks too, so you can pick to your taste! They especially have several single-origin drip coffees and signature menu items, so it seems like a good spot for coffee lovers too!

Seating and which floors stay open (1F only after 9pm)

The seats are spaced out pretty generously, with everything from two-person tables to group seating, so it looked comfortable whether you come alone or with a group!

• After 9pm, only the 1st floor is open
• 2nd and 3rd floors are no-kids zones
• 4th floor is used as a photo booth (so that's probably why there was a four-cut photo booth at the entrance~~~)

When I went, it looked like there was a solo party going on. I guess you can rent the space out too haha

After browsing around, here's what I ended up with~~ Today's menu!

You can choose the beans! We picked the nutty beans for both. Not too acidic, clean and nutty, so it went really well with the salt bread~

Condensed milk salt bread vs basil salt bread: which one wins?

There's a reason this place calls itself a bakery, not just a café. The salt bread is amazing. Both are good, but my favorite is the condensed milk salt bread! They're both ₩4,000, so try the condensed milk one.

You can see the basil spread inside the hollow of the salt bread, right? So good, ㅠㅠ

Next visit: the crunchy Agajak cake

I had leftover hot Americano so I took it to go, and even the cup was so pretty~~~ Next time I'm going back to try the agajak (crunchy) cake. It was a great big Seongsu café for enjoying a variety of bakery items and desserts together~~~ If you're looking for a spacious dessert bakery café open late in Seongsu, this one's worth a visit!
