Gimhae café with Pokémon figures and big group tables: Yu Yu Yu

Hi, it's Osong! I was out in Gimhae and wanted somewhere I could grab coffee and enjoy some bakery goods at the same time, haha. This time I visited a café called Yu Yu Yu.
When I arrived, the clean exterior caught my eye first. But once I stepped inside, the green mountain view through the floor-to-ceiling windows was even more impressive! I went in planning just a quick coffee and ended up thoroughly enjoying bread and a sandwich too, lol.
Is parking easy at Yu Yu Yu?
Yu Yu Yu has parking space set up right in front of the café, so it was convenient to visit by car. Cafés on the outskirts of Gimhae tend to be places you drive to anyway, so it was great to be able to park right outside with plenty of space, haha.
Inside Yu Yu Yu: clean and spacious
Stepping inside Yu Yu Yu, the overall mood is bright and clean! The space itself isn't cramped at all—it's quite roomy, so it was nice to sit and relax with a coffee. Above all, the outside scenery pouring in through the floor-to-ceiling windows made even the indoor seats feel open. It's a large Gimhae café with a terrace on both the 1st and 2nd floors.
The ordering area is spacious and clean too!
But honestly, the bakery display caught my eye before the menu board did, lol.
From salt bread croissants to tigres, there was a wide variety of bakery items that go well with coffee. Seeing them all laid out like this, you tell yourself you'll only get one and end up grabbing several...?🤣
There were also handmade chocolate chip cookies as part of a review event!!
Yu Yu Yu menu and prices
Yu Yu Yu's drink menu was more varied than I expected. From basic coffee to cream lattes, ades, smoothies, and handmade teas, there was plenty to choose from even if you don't drink coffee.
Here's what I ordered that day:

That's what I picked! Came in for a single cup of coffee and ended up properly ordering a sandwich and desserts too, lol.
Coffee and bakery, all on one table
Ta-da! Once it was all set out on the table together, it looked way more generous than expected, haha.
The orange tray, cups, and plates all matched the café's vibe nicely, so photos came out pretty too. The window seat in particular got natural sunlight, which made it perfect for food photos!
The signature U-Latte
For coffee, I was curious about the name so I ordered the iced U-Latte! After stirring it well, I first noticed a soft, nutty flavor, with the coffee taste following gently behind. If you prefer a smooth latte over something too bitter and strong, this one should suit you well! It also had some sweetness, so it worked nicely as a dessert-like drink, haha. Sitting it by the window with the mountain visible behind it looked so pretty♡ It was the perfect view for zoning out with a cup in hand, lol.
How do the sandwich and pastries taste?
The sandwich was more satisfying than I expected! It had ham, cheese, and vegetables, and came pre-cut into bite-sized pieces, easy to pick up one by one. You can see in the cross-section how the fillings are layered. Having dessert and a sandwich together made for a filling meal, haha.
From the bakery, I chose the kaya butter croissant and Earl Grey tigre! Kaya + butter + croissant—how can that combination not be delicious, lol.
Opening it up, you can see the kaya jam inside. Between the croissant's flaky layers, the sweet kaya jam and the buttery flavor came through together, and it paired really well with coffee.
With the Earl Grey tigre, one bite gave a sweet flavor along with a subtle, distinctive Earl Grey aroma.
Best seats for a mountain view
And what I liked most about Yu Yu Yu was definitely the view and the natural light!
Through the floor-to-ceiling windows, the green mountains and surrounding scenery come into full view. It genuinely feels different from a café in the middle of the city. I wasn't even on a long trip, but it felt like a little getaway to the countryside, haha.

Yu Yu Yu has large seating that's great for group visits too!
And there are Shin-chan and Pokémon figures scattered around, which is fun to look at, haha. There are especially a lot of Maeng-gu (Nanako) figures~~~
Worth it for a Gimhae bakery café?
