Today's post is about — ta-da!! — a Daechi-dong favorite, and the place I always think of whenever I'm craving sushi! Sushi Ian N Seolleung Station!

Standing sign in front of the Sushi Ian N Seolleung Station building

Sushi Ian N has long been famous for its flat-price-per-plate conveyor-belt sushi, and I've been to their branches in Magok and Balsan before!! I heard the Seolleung branch is also known for a great-value lunch, so I timed my visit for lunchtime!!

The standing sign out front was easy to spot, so I had no trouble finding it even among all the buildings around!!

Head up to the second floor of the building and the entrance is right there!!

The biggest perk of Sushi Ian N is the flat ₩1,990 per plate, so you can order all kinds of things without any pressure.

They also had a review event going on, so I'd recommend checking that out if it's your first visit haha👍

Conveyor belt of sushi plates and bar table seating

How conveyor-belt sushi works at the Sushi Ian N bar table

Took a seat at the bar table!! So many types of sushi were spinning around that I was already hungry ㅠㅠ

I visited around 1pm, past the peak lunch rush, so I could eat at a fairly relaxed pace. Still, there were surprisingly a lot of customers haha... makes sense, it really lives up to being a Daechi-dong sushi favorite.

Instructions for using the conveyor-belt sushi system posted at the table

How to use the restaurant was clearly explained right in front of the table, so even a first-timer at a conveyor-belt sushi place could figure it out naturally, which I liked.

I love pickled ginger, so I set out the pickled ginger, takuan (pickled radish), and soy sauce at my seat and started properly scanning the sushi.

First plates: beef tartare tataki and wagyu sushi

The first plate I grabbed was!! beef tartare tataki sushi! I normally love beef tartare, and with this look — lightly seared with a torch — this taste... I couldn't resist, grabbed it right away.

They say it's a flat ₩1,990, but the quality never drops at all. Seriously delicious... haha. I think I ate this one several more times haha.

And this plate that looked like wagyu sushi also made its way straight into my stomach haha.

Not on the belt? Order it fresh at Sushi Ian N

Oh, and by the way, if there's a sushi you're craving that isn't among the ones spinning around, you can just ask for it right away.

Menu for made-to-order sushi at Sushi Ian N

There's a menu right next to you, so you pick what you want to eat, tell them, and they make it fresh on the spot, which is so nice... This is how I ordered the salmon sushi..!

Thickly sliced salmon sushi made to order

The color looked amazing✨️✨️✨️

The salmon sushi came out sliced thick, exceeding my expectations.. There was a light drizzle of sauce too, but it wasn't greasy and really brought out salmon's natural richness. The marbling looked beautiful too, so it was satisfying just to look at 👍

Freshwater eel, aged kimchi sushi and taco wasabi sushi

This... freshwater eel sushi... was another one of the dishes I ate a lot of..

Seriously not greasy and never gets old ㅠㅠ

<Beef tartare sushi & raw fish with aged kimchi sushi> I personally love sushi topped with aged kimchi, but a lot of places don't have it on the menu, which is a shame — so I was really happy that Sushi Ian N had it!!

Freshly made taco wasabi sushi

I also requested taco wasabi and got to eat it freshly made right away!!

Sushi topped with both salmon and beef tartare

I also requested and ate this gorgeous-looking sushi topped with both salmon and beef tartare.

And maybe because turnover is good, as you'd expect from a popular spot, the sushi never felt dried out or the rice hard — it always felt fresh, which I appreciated even more.

The flounder sushi also came out great quality, good good!!!

Free green tea and tiramisu to finish

And here's the great thing about coming to a conveyor-belt sushi place!!! 🍰 You get to have dessert all in the same sitting!! ㅠㅠ

First, they have free green tea, so I asked for some — perfect for cleansing the palate.

Tiramisu dessert on the conveyor belt

I really love tiramisu, so I finished with it at the end, and it wasn't some so-so quality — it was better than I expected, with soft, creamy texture that was perfect for cleansing the palate ✨️👍

Even ate shrimp sushi as the real, final finale haha

The last dish eaten: shrimp sushi

Slowly turning into a pig..☆hahaha but hey, as long as I'm happy~?

Such an affordable place... Sushi Ian N🥹
