Today I visited Brassway (브라스웨이) in Jeonpo, a spot with a bit of Italian charm. It's a place centered on pasta and steak that's easy to enjoy, and the exterior itself—reminiscent of a small European restaurant—caught my eye right away. Let me introduce it for anyone looking for brunch or Western food in Jeonpo :)

What the inside of Brassway looks like

Walking in past the green exterior, the atmosphere inside felt totally different from the outside. Wood-tone furniture, soft lighting, and little decor pieces scattered around gave it the feel of a small European restaurant.

It's not a huge space, but the tables aren't packed together, so it felt calm rather than crowded, and the open kitchen made the whole place feel more lively. It's not flashy decor, more of a comfortable atmosphere you could linger in — good for brunch and also for dinner.

There's a small self-serve bar on one side. Water and pickles are self-serve, take as much as you need, and even the little decor pieces there blended naturally with the space. The kitchen was visible right next to it, so you could catch a glimpse of the food being prepared.

Brassway menu and how QR ordering works

The menu ranged from Brassway's signature galbi pasta to cream and tomato pastas, risotto, steaks, and salads. To order, you scan the QR code on the table with your phone, which pulls up the menu and prices at once. Then you just pick what you want and order directly — easy even for a first visit.

Lemon kombucha ade at Brassway

Not long after ordering, the lemon kombucha ade arrived first. With the lemon in it, it looked refreshing, and one sip confirmed it — fizzy carbonation plus a bright citrus tang made it quite crisp. It wasn't too sweet, so it was nice to sip lightly while waiting for the food. 🍋

Burrata tomato pasta and sous vide flank steak, served

The mains we'd been waiting for arrived too. We ordered the sous vide flank steak and the burrata tomato pasta! With a big chunk of burrata cheese on the pasta and the flank steak set out together, the table looked like a proper spread.

How the burrata tomato pasta tastes

The tomato sauce leaned more mild and rich than tangy. Mixing in the burrata cheese with the noodles softened the tomato flavor even more while adding a nutty richness. It wasn't sharp at all, so it went down smoothly — kids would probably eat it without any fuss. I especially loved the combo of noodles coated generously in cheese. 🍅

How the sous vide flank steak tastes with pumpkin puree

The sous vide flank steak was moist inside, not tough, and chewed softly. The meat was clean-tasting on its own, but with a generous scoop of the sweet pumpkin puree it took on a sweeter, more tender flavor that worked really well together. Adding the grilled vegetables on top kept things from tasting one-note.

The burrata tomato pasta and the sous vide flank steak each had their own charm, making them great to alternate between bites! This is a place I'd want to come back to whenever I'm craving pasta and steak in Jeonpo. 😊
