Haeundae café for latte and peanut butter cookies: Low & Sweet Bakery

A Haeundae latte spot I found with friends

On a trip to Busan with friends! After a delicious dinner, we came to Haeridan-gil for dessert. We heard there was a great latte spot, but I fell for the place because it was so pretty. We had to head back to Daegu, so we got takeaway, but ahhh, I wanted to sit and stay a while—whining away, haha.

The Haeridan-gil latte spot we visited was Low & Sweet Bakery (로우앤스윗 베이커리). It has an exotic atmosphere, delicious lattes, and desserts.

They sell freshly baked goods every morning. We arrived late in the evening, and almost all the bakery items were sold out, so we had cookies instead—and oh my gosh, I found a life-changing cookie here. Everything is fate, haha.

A café space with an exotic atmosphere

That red EXIT light at the entrance is seriously charming. It feels like I have come to visit the United States. The whole café is pure mood. You can see the owner's good taste in every little corner. I want to have a pretty café like this someday too, haha.

As soon as you enter, you can see the kitchen. You can watch the staff making coffee. We said we were ordering takeaway, then had a little look around the café.

This is what it looks like when you look toward the entrance from inside. There are tables everywhere there is room, so it has a bustling, cute feel.

There is also a Low & Sweet Roastery nearby, and that one is more spacious than this place. I think the taste is the same. The atmosphere is slightly different.

There is a larger space farther inside, which is nice for enjoying coffee and baked goods. True to its reputation as a Haeridan-gil hot spot, there were lots of guests, so I could not take detailed photos.

There is also a door leading outside, where there is an outdoor space for coffee. It must feel different in the daytime than in the evening, so I should visit during the day next time.

What to check before the bakery sells out

The bakery and coffee menu are written on a chalkboard on the wall. Maybe because it is written in that chalkboard style, it feels vintage.

Low & Sweet Bakery, a popular Haeundae café, lists the times its bread comes out. If you want to enjoy warm, freshly baked goods, pay attention to those times. People living in Haeundae are so lucky—they can come here often. Won't Low & Sweet open in Daegu too?!

It is known for egg tarts in Busan, and they also sell them as gifts, so keep that in mind.

They are open until 20:00, but because we arrived around 7 PM, there were not many bakery items left. Some cookies remained, so we ordered them—and I was shocked because they were so delicious when I had not expected much.

Salted peanut butter chip cookies and lattes

We bought a cute lemon madeleine, a salted peanut butter chip cookie, and a banana chocolate chip cookie. They all looked delicious just sitting there. The cookies were especially large, so they were good for sharing.

The salted peanut butter chip cookie in particular was really delicious. It is the meeting of nutty peanut butter and salty salt...! We even regretted not buying two, haha.

Latte ₩6,300, vanilla bean latte ₩6,800. For an additional ₩500, you can switch to oat milk. Our cool, nutty lattes arrived. They went so well with the baked goods. Next time, I am going to stay longer.

I am so happy to have found this great Haeridan-gil latte spot on my Busan trip. Low & Sweet Bakery, a popular Haeundae café, sells delicious cookies, madeleines, and many kinds of baked goods, so it is also a hot spot in Haeridan-gil.
