Hi everyone 🙂 Today I went for some day drinking at Wareureu Mansion Bangi Branch in the Bangi-dong food alley!
Since they open at 2pm, I heard people come not just for dinner but for day drinking, meals, evening drinking gatherings, and even as a second-round spot in Bangi-dong.
The place is really spacious, and since it's newly opened it felt clean too. It's a comfortable vibe for drinking. If you're looking for a good-value Korean pub in the Bangi-dong food alley for a date night, I highly recommend Wareureu Mansion 👍🏻
Is Wareureu Mansion Bangi Branch good for watching sports on the big screen?
The screen is set up really large, so it looked like a great spot to visit on days with baseball, soccer, and other sports games.
What is on the menu at Wareureu Mansion Bangi Branch?
There's a wide range of delicious-looking dishes, from the trendy raw shrimp sashimi to steamed baby octopus from the East Sea, spicy raw beef with buldak onion wraps, boiled pork with cold buckwheat noodles, and boiled pork platters 💗 It's a bar, but the menu is nearly as extensive as a full restaurant, so it's a good spot to visit for a proper meal too.
There's also a wide range of drinks — highballs, cocktails, traditional liquor, and makgeolli (rice wine) — so you can pick according to your taste.
Macaroni comes out as the complimentary starter snack, perfect for nibbling before the main dishes arrive!

Sinan same-day-catch raw shrimp sashimi, 35,900 won and only 10 servings a day
This is the raw shrimp sashimi I've been wanting to try after seeing it all over Shorts and Reels lately haha. There are barely any bars in Jamsil's Bangi-dong that serve it, so I was finally able to try it here.
They use fresh shrimp caught the same day off the coast of Sinan, so the quality rivals a proper sashimi restaurant.
Since it's limited to 10 servings a day, I was nervous it might be sold out, but I was so relieved I managed to order it!
I liked that the shrimp heads are included with no extra charge — crispy and perfect with beer.
The shrimp meat was plump and chewy, with sweetness building the more you chewed — genuinely delicious! This is definitely not bar-food quality.
Side dishes and pairings that come with the raw shrimp sashimi
Seaweed, lemon, garlic, wasabi, baek-kimchi (white kimchi), chogochujang (vinegared chili paste), and buldak mayo sauce are all provided — I highly recommend wrapping the shrimp with garlic in the seaweed 👍🏻
This was my first time trying the buldak mayo sauce pairing, and the spiciness cutting through the richness was addictive.
Pollack roe and cheongyang chili cream pasta, 15,900 won and filling enough for a meal
Since I came for a meal as well as drinks, I ordered the cheongyang cream pasta too. It's loaded with a generous amount of cream sauce, plus bacon, mushrooms, and shrimp — it really looks like something from a dedicated pasta restaurant haha.
Even people who usually can't handle cream pasta because it's too rich should be fine here, since the salty pollack roe and spicy cheongyang chili balance it out.
The portion was generous too, so it was satisfying as a full meal.
