As the name suggests, it's a place where you can enjoy all-you-can-eat shaved pork belly, so it's great not just for meat lovers but for family meals, gatherings, and company dinners too. Let me introduce Muhan Paldo Daepae right now~

You can't skip the soju while eating, and here you can enjoy it all-you-can-drink too!! Side dishes can't be skipped either!! Of course there's water and bibim naengmyeon, plus steamed egg and soybean paste stew for sale. There's also snow cheese and raw egg sold separately, which taste even better added to fried rice or ramen.

What's at the self-serve bar: lettuce, slushies and kids' trays

What I liked most was that beyond the shaved pork belly itself, the self-serve bar to go along with it was so well stocked.

Tongs, scissors and paper cups at the self-serve bar

Kids' plates, tongs, scissors, wet wipes, and paper cups are all available at the self-serve bar. It felt like they provide thoughtful service for families visiting with kids too, which I really liked.

Garlic, mushrooms, rice cake and other grilling ingredients

From fresh lettuce wraps to garlic, mushrooms, and rice cake, there's a variety of ingredients ready to grill along with the meat.

Slushy machine at the self-serve bar

You can even enjoy a cool slushy at the self-serve bar, which was so nice for cleansing the palate as a dessert.

For meat, there was Korean shaved pork, shaved beef brisket, shaved pork neck, frozen pork belly, shaved pork belly, and flower pork belly.

There were also many different kinds of sauces available, so even the same shaved pork belly could be enjoyed in a variety of ways.

After eating your fill of meat, there's the fried rice that every Korean absolutely must have! You can make your own self-serve fried rice too, so you can enjoy a satisfying finish right to the end.

There's also all-you-can-eat ramen on top of that, which is great to use when you're craving a spicy hot soup after eating meat!!

Dinner rolls and jam at the self-serve bar

Another thing I liked was that there are dinner rolls, so you can make your own paldo burger using shaved pork belly or self-serve bar ingredients. It was nice to be able to enjoy something different in between, rather than just eating meat non-stop.

The shaved pork belly at Muhan Paldo Daepae Jamsilsaenae Branch is sliced thin, so it cooks quickly on the grill — so great for eating fast ><

It also went really well paired with garlic or various side dishes on top of the lettuce wraps haha.

You can dip it in whichever of the sauces representing Korea's eight provinces suits your taste, for an even tastier bite.

I also brought over the dinner rolls and strawberry jam and made it into a burger-style bite, and it was genuinely delicious!!

The bibim naengmyeon at Muhan Paldo Daepae Jamsilsaenae Branch is ₩4,000. I ate it alongside the meat, and pairing the sweet and tangy noodles with the meat while eating really brought my appetite back to life.

The combination of shaved pork belly and cold noodles is really hard to go wrong with haha.

Finishing with fried rice

To finish, I ate my fair share of fried rice too! haha

If you're looking for a place in Jamsilsaenae to eat your fill of shaved pork belly, or a meat restaurant with a generous variety of self-serve bar options, I highly recommend Muhan Paldo Daepae Jamsilsaenae Branch~!
