Shopping-day late lunch in Seongsu: three slices at Pizza Slice Seoul

Where is Pizza Slice Seoul? Basement of the Seongsu This Is Never That and Kirsh building

Seongsu is always crowded, but I still end up there again and again... because let's be honest, Seongsu means pop-ups and clothes shopping, right? That day too, I was busy wandering around and looking at everything!

While checking out This Is Never That and Kirsh, I went into the building and found out there was a pizza place in the basement! It's apparently the talk of Seongsu right now, so here's my review of Pizza Slice Seoul.

I found out that the building with This Is Never That and Kirsh also runs a pizza restaurant on the side.

"Let's just grab a slice each for a late lunch," I thought casually as I headed down to the basement, but the vibe from the entrance onward was already so good.

Still full at 2pm: how a basement room feels open at Pizza Slice Seoul

It was already past the lunch peak, after 2pm, but I was surprised how many customers were still inside Pizza Slice Seoul. There were even foreign customers coming in nonstop — you could really feel its global popularity, wow.

Basement restaurants are usually a bit stuffy, but this place has a large window-wall structure so it didn't feel cramped at all — very open and airy.

That open feeling made it a really comfortable place to sit, and since the kitchen is open-style, it was fun watching them make and bake the pizzas right in front of us.

For our late lunch, here's what we picked:

• ✔️Meatball slice (₩7,800)
• ✔️Today's pizza (₩8,000) *combination-style that day
• ✔️Buffalo wings (₩6,000)

They reheated the pizza slices for us! Each slice was so big I thought it'd be perfect for coming alone and having one slice with a beer.

We just wanted something light, but why was it this good? And with the spicy buffalo wings on the side,

the wings cut through the richness of the pizza perfectly, so we enjoyed every last slice.

Hotel-grade restrooms in the Seongsu building

After filling up, I went to the bathroom on the way out, and honestly, that's where I got impressed all over again — the restroom felt hotel-grade; big companies really do it differently... there was even air conditioning inside the bathroom.

After the meal, we moved to the café right next door for coffee, then took the elevator straight up to the 2nd-3rd floors to finish our clothes shopping, haha.

Is Pizza Slice Seoul worth it on a Seongsu shopping day?

Honestly, Seongsu-dong has so many places to eat and so many pretty cafés that I always agonize over where to go! But when I stumble on a hip spot like this that's totally my taste, it puts me in a good mood for the whole day.

It was the perfect Seongsu outing — good food, shopping, and aesthetic vibes all in one place. Grabbing a light bite with slice pizza and chatting comfortably with a friend in a pleasant space left me very satisfied... next time I want to try every other pizza flavor one by one, haha.
