Yunseul is a shabu-shabu dining restaurant inside Grand Central at Seoul Station. My partner and I had lunch here near Seoul Station and Namdaemun Market, going for the shabu-shabu set course. It's clean and upscale for a restaurant inside Grand Central, so I'd recommend it for family meals, gatherings, or dates~~

Take the elevator down to the 1st floor, turn right, and keep walking past the Allabo Salad store — Yunseul, the shabu-shabu spot at Seoul Station, is right there!

🥬 Basic table setup 🥬 Shabu broth + mushrooms and vegetables, beef + kalguksu noodles/minari. A hearty full meal!

The complimentary starter: suji bokkeum (stir-fried beef tendon)

They told us to try the sujebutbokkeum (stir-fried beef tendon) first!! It had rice cake, quail eggs, and tendon, spicy with a hint of charcoal smokiness, and the chewy texture made it a delicious starter right from the get-go

How was the clear anchovy broth shabu-shabu at Yunseul?

💗 Shabu-shabu 💗 I went back and forth with the doenjang naengi broth but decided to go with the original — clear anchovy broth! Can't go wrong, the broth is clean and deep in flavor 🍲🍲🍲

Dipped the meat and veggies in three kinds of sauce, and once we finished those, they added the kalguksu noodles in too. Satisfying meal, good 👍

Muchae jangjorimjeon, the standout dish at Yunseul

💗 Muchae jangjorimjeon 💗 This one is a total standout!! The radish has a texture like potato, and there's jangjorim (soy-braised beef) piled on top — so delicious~~

It was so good my chopsticks kept reaching for it. If you love jangjorim, you have to try this!!

Finishing with bulgogi kimchi fried rice

💗 Bulgogi kimchi fried rice 💗 The rice was barley rice, so it had a nice chewy texture, and the bulgogi was made with minced meat — sweet, and mixed with stir-fried kimchi, it kept going down easily

So good I couldn't put my spoon down even though I was full,,,🥣
