Suwon Ingye-dong breakfast: ugeoji pork bone soup at Eolkeunhan

In short

Eolkeunhan Ppyeo Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch is a 24-hour pork bone soup restaurant on the first floor of Drama City in Ingye-dong, Suwon. On an early-morning visit, two bowls of ugeoji ppyeo haejangguk (pork bone soup with dried cabbage greens) at regular spice level came with three meaty bone pieces each and plenty of greens, even in the basic size. Open around the clock with 2 hours of parking in the Drama City underground lot, Eolkeunhan Ppyeo Haejangguk is worth remembering as a breakfast spot.

Scene of eating bone soup at a 24-hour Ingye-dong restaurant

Looking for a Suwon Ingye-dong restaurant that opens early in the morning?

I went to Eolkeunhan Ppyeo Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch, a 24-hour Ingye-dong restaurant. It's rare to find a place open in the early morning, so it was convenient that this one runs round the clock — I stopped by for breakfast.

This is also a great spot for solo dining or group gatherings in Ingye-dong. Here's my review after a hearty, warm, spicy bone soup meal.

What is ugeoji pork bone soup for two at regular spice like?

I ordered ugeoji ppyeo haejangguk for two. Both at regular spice level!

Table set with basic side dishes

The basic side dishes were set out, and the bone soup came right after — it arrived quickly right after ordering, which was great!

The ugeoji ppyeo haejangguk arrived bubbling in an earthenware pot. Even at the basic size — not the special size — the bones were really substantial. And my beloved ugeoji greens were piled high too!

There were 3 bone chunks total, and they had so much meat on them that just eating the meat alone was enough to fill you up! A generously portioned Suwon Ingye-dong restaurant!

Mixing rice into the broth

I mixed rice into the cool, spicy broth with well-picked meat and had a very satisfying meal. The crunchy kkakdugi (radish kimchi) paired perfectly with the bone soup!

My partner said the broth was the coolest and most refreshing he'd ever had, tilting the pot to slurp up every last drop of soup.

Final verdict on breakfast at Eolkeunhan Ppyeo Haejangguk

As a 24-hour Ingye-dong restaurant, parking was easy, and it was perfect whether you visit for an early breakfast, late lunch, or dinner. I enjoyed adjusting the spice level of the hot, spicy bone soup to my taste. I'd recommend saving this as your go-to 24-hour Ingye-dong restaurant.
