The writer ordered the plump cheese waterfall donkatsu (₩15,900) and the jinsim jjol-donkatsu (₩14,900), chose dipping sauce on the side, and loaded up on soup and side dishes at the self-serve bar. A restaurant recommendation in Buldang-dong.

Hi everyone~ Today I finally went back for some good pork cutlet at Jinsim Wang Donkatsu, a Buldang-dong favorite!
Name: Jinsim Wang Donkatsu Cheonan Buldang / Address: 26 Buldang34-gil, Seobuk-gu, Cheonan-si, Chungnam / Hours: Daily 11:00–21:00

Parking and the entrance
There's a public parking lot right next to this Buldang-dong spot, so anyone driving in can park with no hassle!!

The entrance to this Buldang-dong donkatsu place is separate, so it's best to head around front to go in~

Solo-friendly seating and a self-packing area
I visited a bit after lunch rush, but there were still plenty of families around~

There were single-seat tables great for eating alone, plus larger tables for groups, so no matter how many people you come with, it's easy to find a spot!
And this Buldang-dong restaurant has a packing station inside — since portions are so generous that people often have leftovers, there's a self-service area to pack up your food!! Light eaters really praise this service~ nice touch.

Ordering is by tablet
You order from the tablet at your table, and since this is a Buldang-dong donkatsu specialist, there are cheese, classic, sweet potato and other flavors along with noodle dishes, so you can order whatever combination you like!

They're also running a review event right now, so if you're interested, give it a try!

Self-serve bar soup and side dishes
There's a self-serve bar on one side of this Buldang-dong restaurant where you can grab whatever ingredients you want!

A light soup that's nice to sip before the meal~ this is one of Jinsim Wang Donkatsu's highlights!
Grab whatever utensils or side dishes you need ahead of time! It's a self-serve system, no one brings them to you.

Side dishes are ssamjang (dipping paste), kimchi, and pickled radish — I only took as much as I'd eat, and the kimchi here is seriously good haha.

This Buldang-dong restaurant also has that clean broth you get at pork cutlet places — udon-ish, fishcake-ish? — so if you like it, grab it from the self-serve bar~
The soup you eat as a starter~ that familiar flavor!! It's the kind you get at old-school Western-style diners, and it's nice hot before the meal~

Plump cheese waterfall donkatsu, ₩15,900
The food all arrived at once, and this is the plump cheese waterfall donkatsu (₩15,900)!

The thickness of cheese is honestly hard to even gauge... it's genuinely thick and the size is big too. Wow, look at the cheese pouring out of this Buldang-dong cutlet!!
There's a reason 'waterfall' is in the name. Since it's freshly made, the cheese stretches endlessly.
The sauce was tasty too and paired well with the cutlet, and the meat still had juice in it so it was so good, ugh.
And at this Buldang-dong spot, the cutlet comes with cucumber peppers — that's a key point!! They cut through the greasiness of the cutlet, so you've got to eat these together^^

Jinsim jjol-donkatsu, ₩14,900
Jinsim Wang Donkatsu's noodle dishes are tasty too and I wanted to try them, but ordering them separately felt like too much food, you know? Luckily there's a combo menu, so I ordered the jinsim jjol-donkatsu (₩14,900)!

It comes with chewy, spicy-tangy jjolmyeon (chewy cold noodles), and the portion is bigger than expected! And for someone who can't handle much spice, it wasn't too hot, so I could enjoy it just fine~

Even served with the noodles, the cutlet is still huge, right? Honestly I thought the combo version would be smaller, but no — the value here is no joke;;

It's got real thickness too — crispy outside, moist inside, and genuinely delicious.
Dipping sauce choice and lettuce wraps
When you order donkatsu here, you can choose between sauce poured on top or served for dipping, you know?? I'm a dipping person, so they gave me the sauce on the side~
Another highlight of Jinsim Wang Donkatsu is the lettuce!! This place is known for donkatsu you eat wrapped in lettuce!
It sounds like an odd combination, but once you actually eat it, it's really good;; the kind of flavor that keeps you reaching for more. This much food at this price?? Total value, and it's tasty on top of that, ugh. And if you've got leftovers, you can pack them up yourself at this Buldang-dong favorite, Jinsim Wang Donkatsu~ I think I'll be back whenever I'm craving pork cutlet.
