Saturday 20-min wait and 4 baked treats at a Cheonan café: Brewers

Had a schedule in Cheonan, so I stopped by a café that's super hot for its baked treats — Brewers Coffee 🤎 Let me introduce it right away!

• Open year-round (closed Sep 25 for Chuseok)

Sinbu-dong has a lot of spots where parking is tricky, but there's a Sinbu 4 Public Parking Lot right in front of Brewers Coffee, so it seemed handy for parking! When we went it was full, so we parked in a nearby alley. It's located in the Sinbu-dong food alley and fairly close to the Cheonan Bus Terminal, so it's also good to swing by before or after meeting up with people!

A 20-minute wait on Saturday afternoon, and the gacha shop in between

Since we went after Saturday lunch, we walked in, saw it was fully packed, and went oops 😂 — put our name down for a 20-minute wait and stepped out, and there was a gacha (capsule toy) shop right in front?

I never knew the appeal of gacha, but before I knew it I'd spent over ₩30,000 🤣 hahaha, it was so fun

Got a Pingu coin purse 🤧 We were at the gacha shop when it was finally our turn, so we went straight in!

Can you hear the sound of a bread-lover's eyes lighting up 🥨 This is a place where browsing the baked treats showcase is genuinely fun! From financiers to madeleines, canelés, and flan — the variety is so wide that dessert lovers might take forever picking a menu 😂 Same here, honestly. Brewers Coffee's coffee is delicious too, but it's mostly known as a go-to spot for financiers, canelés, and madeleines! Looked like a lot of people were getting takeout too.

What's on the drink menu?

This is the drink menu. Brewers Coffee has its own signature menu items too. The main ones are Brewers Coffee and 041 Coffee, and flat whites or lattes are apparently popular choices as well. In particular, 041 Coffee was inspired by walnut pastry, Cheonan's signature snack, and is a coffee with walnut cream mixed in. If you're not a fan of overly sweet coffee, the flat white or latte types seem like a solid pick! Since I had to eat a lot of baked treats, I went with an iced americano.

The vibe inside and the outdoor terrace

Looking around inside, the space felt clean overall with a vintage touch mixed in — the atmosphere was really nice! There are outdoor seats too, not just indoor, so it seems great for enjoying coffee on the terrace on a nice-weather day. There were a few people sitting outside too haha

With so many kinds of baked treats, it felt like the perfect spot to pair a cup of coffee with dessert! The canelés, crisp outside and moist inside — pure fundamentals — I regretted not getting a box to take home hahaha

Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch ☕️ is a great stop in Sinbu-dong after a meal, when you're looking for a nice-vibe café or a dessert spot. Especially if you like financiers, canelés, or madeleines, there's enough variety that picking your own combo is part of the fun. Next time I want to try the other baked treats one by one :)
