Seoul yacht tour for the Banpo Bridge fountain show: Sailing Paradise
In short
Sailing Paradise is a Han River yacht-tour experience in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul. On a 7 pm tour, I watched the sunset and Banpo Bridge Rainbow Fountain Show, enjoyed wine and crackers, and even took the helm. Verdict: Go at sunset when you need a dose of romance in the city.

For this Han River yacht experience, I went with Sailing Paradise, located inside Hangang Park—the same area where you can ride the Han River duck boats. If you are driving, use the nearby Yeouido Hangang Park Parking Lot 1.

Follow the stairs down toward the row of shops,

then keep going all the way to the far right, where you will find Sailing Paradise.

After confirming the reservation, we filled out a boarding declaration with our personal information and headed out to board the yacht. Yay!

Four people aboard the Misso Marine
There were four of us booked for this time slot, so we rode a cute, compact yacht called the Misso Marine. With so few people, it was actually nice that it felt like a private Han River yacht tour🩵 Depending on the number in your party, yachts range from 10- and 12-passenger boats to large yachts for 30–50 people, making this great for a Han River date, company gathering, or group outing.

Choose the 7 pm slot for sunset and the fountain show
If you are considering a summer Han River yacht ride, I recommend the 7 pm sunset slot over a daytime trip: it lets you see both the sunset and the Banpo Bridge Rainbow Fountain Show.

Sunset in Seoul was at 19:57 that day, so when we boarded at 7 pm, the sun was already slowly sinking. We took in the scenery with a refreshing breeze.
The glittering sunlight on the water, the sunset reflected in it, and the orange glow in the sky—it was a whole bowlful of romance, you know? Just one glimpse of the view lifted my mood, and I could see why people come for Han River yacht-tour dates~

The tour provides one beer or glass of wine plus truffle crackers—just right for enjoying casually. Sipping wine while looking at the Han River nightscape made me feel like I had somehow gone abroad, and the Han River sunset felt even more captivating. Ahhh.

The Misso Marine is not a huge yacht, so I even got to try steering it myself. Driving on the water felt oddly thrilling😆

Banpo Bridge Rainbow Fountain Show times
This Han River yacht tour travels from Yeouido Hangang Park past Nodeulseom and toward Banpo Bridge.
And the reason we came all the way to Banpo Bridge was, of course, to see the Banpo Hangang Park Rainbow Fountain Show! The yacht captain was so thoughtful🩵
- July–August: 12:00 / 19:30 / 20:00 / 20:30 / 21:00 / 21:30
- March–June, September–October: 12:00 / 19:30 / 20:00 / 20:30 / 21:00
- During peak season, there are six 20-minute shows; during off-peak season, there are five 20-minute shows.
A fountain show viewed from the Han River—maximum romance, seriously,,

This is the prime spot for the Banpo Bridge Moonlight Rainbow Fountain Show! Competition for a spot gets fierce after sunset, so I recommend arriving early and waiting✔️
Because I booked the 7 pm yacht tour, I could watch the 7:30 pm Banpo Bridge fountain show. But if you want to see the fountain show sparkling alongside the night view, definitely go after 8 pm.

After watching the Banpo Hangang Park Rainbow Fountain Show, the sun was already beginning to tuck itself behind the buildings.
A dreamy purple sky and the full moon began to share the same sky. I booked the 7 pm Han River yacht tour and enjoyed the high-rises and sunset on my yacht date, but seeing this made me think a Han River night-view yacht tour after the sun has fully set would be romantic too. Even though I live close enough to the Han River that it is practically on my doorstep, I wondered why I had only just tried a Han River yacht-tour date~

This Han River yacht date was even better because I could see both the sunset and the Banpo Bridge Rainbow Fountain Show. If you need a dose of romance in the city, definitely try a Han River yacht tour at sunset.
