I went to a gnocchi and pasta spot in the Suwan district. Bueokgan Suwan Branch is a place I've visited before — it's still popular and still delicious!!

How long is the weekend lunch wait at Bueokgan Suwan Branch?
Starting with the exterior and interior amenities and decor.
I visited just after 12:30pm on a weekend and there was already a wait at Bueokgan. The exterior has a sleek feel.
People were waiting at the terrace tables near the entrance. The weather had cooled down a bit so waiting wasn't too bad. Still, the turnover is pretty fast for a Western restaurant — I think we waited about 20–30 minutes before getting seated.
Inside Bueokgan Suwan Branch: atmosphere and seating
The lush green view through the big windows, along with warm lighting and woody interior, gives off a really comfortable, pleasant feeling. There are various seat types — a bar-style table, 2-person tables, 4-person tables, and more.
Near the entrance there are separate men's and women's restrooms, and they were really clean!
The owner showed us to our seats and set the table right away. You order through the kiosk on the table.
What's on the menu at Bueokgan Suwan Branch?
As you'd expect from a Western restaurant, there's a wide variety on the menu. Pizzas like basil margherita pizza, truffle mushroom pizza, Pemanong jambon pizza, and arugula pizza, plus pastas like truffle mushroom cream gnocchi, shrimp anchovy oil pasta, shrimp rosé pasta, vongole pasta, carbonara, and seafood tomato pasta, and even Kung Pao chicken pilaf, steak, and tenderloin steak — so many options. There were too many choices, it was hard to pick haha. After much deliberation, here's what we chose!?

The pasta and gnocchi were delicious last time I came, so we ordered two pastas and the gnocchi again haha.
How do the shrimp anchovy oil pasta and seafood tomato pasta taste?
The shrimp anchovy oil pasta came out first. I love shrimp, and the pieces were big and generous, which made me happy. My sister's oil pasta was light yet the shrimp, tomato, and garlic mixed in were well balanced, making it even more delicious.
Next came the seafood tomato pasta. This one also had a generous amount of shrimp. I picked the tomato seafood pasta, and while I already like tomato pasta in general, the sauce here was especially delicious. My personal favorite...
Truffle mushroom cream gnocchi: how strong is the truffle aroma?
And then, the gnocchi!!
What even is this visual... it truly looks delicious.
At first I thought the gnocchi portion looked small, but it wasn't — the gnocchi itself was quite large, with plenty of mushrooms, and the sauce was thick enough to fill you up. The truffle aroma was subtle, which I loved even more — my sister joked that the truffle scent was 'seducing' her lol. Since the truffle isn't overpowering but gentle, even people who don't like strong aromas could enjoy this happily.
What to order on a return visit to Bueokgan Suwan Branch
This Western restaurant in Suwan has been around for quite a while, and seeing that it's still popular tells me that everything on the menu is fundamentally delicious. I haven't tried every single dish, but everything I've ordered across several visits has been great. Especially the pasta and gnocchi — you really must try them...! Everything is well done, but the bestsellers are best for a reason!! Next time I visit, I plan to try the young cabbage Caesar salad, basil pesto cream pasta, and a pizza!!
