Yuzu scone and chrysanthemum tea at Siheung bakery café Flowerpot
In short
Flowerpot Cafe & Bakery is a three-story bakery café near Mulwang Reservoir in Siheung, Gyeonggi. The visit took in the plant-filled first-floor hall, the second-floor bakery display and counter, and the third-floor indoor seating and rooftop, with a yuzu scone, ciabatta and blueberry pie alongside iced chrysanthemum tea and lemonade. The yuzu scone was the best of the three, and Flowerpot makes an easy place to slow down after a walk around Mulwang Reservoir.

Found Flowerpot Cafe & Bakery while out on a trip to Mulwang Reservoir! The weather's been so nice lately that I keep wanting to run outside. 🍂 While looking for a spot near the reservoir to get good bread and coffee, I stumbled across Flowerpot Cafe & Bakery.

I'd heard this place was well known as a Mulwang bakery spot, and once I visited I understood why people come here.
A whole building given over to one café

Flowerpot Cafe & Bakery takes up an entire building, so the scale alone is impressive! I get why it's recommended so much as a big café near Mulwang Reservoir. The outside is covered in cute little string lights, so it must have a completely different vibe in the evening. ✨

The first floor especially had a great sense of openness, maybe because the windows were all open. On a nice day like this, it's the perfect atmosphere to sit and feel the cool breeze!
Parking at Flowerpot Cafe & Bakery

This Siheung café has a large parking lot, so parking was easy. No stress about parking means it'd be great to visit as a family too.
Cats in the yard at Flowerpot
And the thing I was most happy to see at the Siheung location, haha — there are a few cats in the yard, and they really love people.

It's not run as a separate cat café, but the cats in the yard aren't scared of people and come right up to you haha. Total lap-cat energy!! When you give them a little pat they just flop right down — so cute 🥹 If you love cats, I highly recommend this Siheung café.
The green, plant-filled first floor

The first floor is filled with big green plants everywhere, giving it a lush, fresh feel overall. I love this kind of plant-decor café — lots of greenery is easy on the eyes and makes the whole mood feel so fresh, haha. The tables here are solid wood and the chairs are comfortable, so it's nice to sit for a long time.

It's the kind of atmosphere that's great for resting with some bread after a walk around Mulwang Reservoir. ❤️ So this feels less like a place to just grab bread and leave, and more like a café near Mulwang Reservoir to spend some relaxed time in.
The second floor has a different mood
And the second floor, which I was most looking forward to! As soon as you go up, the bakery display spreads out in front of you and your eyes get busy, haha.

There was a really wide variety of bread, and since they bake fresh every day, every single one had such lively detail!
What's on the menu at Flowerpot

You order at the second-floor counter, and beyond coffee there was a nice variety of drinks too. Good for people who can't drink coffee, or families visiting with kids who can each pick something to their taste.

So if you're looking for a Mulwang Reservoir spot where you can properly enjoy bread too, Flowerpot is the one!
There's a third floor and a rooftop too?

This big Siheung café even has a rooftop on the third floor 😀 The indoor space flows into the rooftop, and you get this open view of the clear sky that I really loved.
What we ordered at Flowerpot

- Yuzu scone
- Ciabatta
- Blueberry pie
- Iced chrysanthemum tea
- Lemonade
That's the lineup! The tray, the plates, and the cups all match the interior so perfectly.
Iced chrysanthemum tea: fragrant and light

Drinking it cold, you could subtly pick up chrysanthemum's distinctive fragrant scent. It's a clean flavor that pairs well with sweet bread, so it was nice to sip between bites. The chrysanthemum aroma was so lovely 😃 A menu that really suits fall!
Lemonade: sweet and tart

The lemonade had just the right amount of fizz and a sweet-tart flavor! Packed with rich lemon juice, it felt so refreshing, and paired with bread it really cleared my head, haha. Drinking it outdoors on a nice day made me even happier.
Blueberry pie

The blueberry pie had a crispy crust that gave it a great texture. It was packed with blueberries inside, so with every bite the berries burst with juice! They didn't skimp on the sweet-tart blueberries, so I think kids would love it too.
The yuzu scone was the best bake

Personally, my favorite thing I ate that day was the yuzu scone. 💛 I already like scones, but adding yuzu flavor made it genuinely delicious.

The scone's plain, savory flavor combined with yuzu's bright citrus note made it feel much lighter. Scones can sometimes feel a bit dry going down, but thanks to the yuzu's tang, that feeling was much less here. Officially the best scone at a Siheung bakery café, haha.
Ciabatta, soft and moist

I also tried the ciabatta, and the bread itself was moist and soft. Olives and cheese were studded throughout the inside, so every bite had that savory flavor too. ❤️
Worth pairing with a Mulwang Reservoir walk
If you want to walk around Mulwang Reservoir, eat good bread, and relax, adding Flowerpot Cafe & Bakery to the route is a must. Above all, being able to pick from a wide range of freshly baked goods makes this a special recommendation for bread lovers!!
After this visit, I understood why this place is known among people looking for a Mulwang bakery spot. Flowerpot Cafe & Bakery in Siheung is a place where I got to enjoy tasty bread and drinks along with a proper autumn mood — somewhere I'd love to go back to on another nice day to enjoy the outdoor atmosphere again.
