Pizza Slice had exactly that hip pizzeria feel, and since most people seem to grab takeout on their way to Seoul Forest, the shop itself wasn't too crowded, which I loved! Tables are spaced generously and the place is quite roomy, so I'd recommend it for solo diners too. The greenery visible through the floor-to-ceiling windows kept the basement space from feeling cramped at all.

There's even a sink right inside the store for washing your hands

If you're eating in, every table has red pepper flakes, Tabasco hot sauce, and ketchup, so you can season to taste

Hawaiian slice

I'm a pretty picky eater, but Hawaiian pizza is oddly one of my genuine favorites, so Pizza Slice's Hawaiian pizza was really my kind of thing. The sweetness of the grilled pineapple went so well with the tomato sauce and toppings

Cheese slice

Cheese pizza — need I say more. It's the kind of pizza that's good anywhere, but this one really uses good cheese, so it was nutty and salty and delicious. When I reheated the leftovers at home, they got a bit crispy and were even better

Meatball slice

Third up was the meatball pizza! It was loaded with big meatballs, so the texture was great — kind of like a bulgogi pizza vibe. If you like bulgogi pizza, this one's a guaranteed hit

Pepperoni slice

Last up, pepperoni pizza! This is the one that's hard to find someone who doesn't like it. The crust itself is thin, so two of us actually polished off all four slices without even trying. The salty, slightly spicy pepperoni packed in there made for such great flavor
