Jeonpo pizza restaurant with beef cheeseburger halves: Pickles, Busan
In short
Pickles is a New York–style Western restaurant in Busanjin, Busan, a 5-minute walk from Exit 7 of Jeonpo Station. Over a brunch-turned-lunch with her sister, the writer ordered a half jambon-beurre, half beef cheeseburger pizza with a romaine salad (9,000 won), and the pillowy dough with ranch-dressed greens was the standout. There is a wait at Pickles even on weekdays, but this Jeonpo pizza spot was worth every minute.

A brunch spot at a Jeonpo pizza restaurant, Pickles, a Western restaurant near Seomyeon and Jeonpo-dong.
My sister and I were looking for a brunch place for a date around Seomyeon/Jeonpo, and we ended up at Pickles, a Western restaurant she'd said was delicious before. I heard it has a wait even on weekdays, so I went half excited, half worried — and it was genuinely so, so good...
The wait made total sense once I tasted it. Let me introduce Pickles, a Jeonpo restaurant I'm pretty sure I'll come back to.
Where is Pickles? A 5-minute walk from Jeonpo Station Exit 7
- 📍 62-14 Seojeon-ro 46beon-gil, 1st floor, Busanjin-gu, Busan
- ⏰ 11:00-21:00 (last order 20:00)
- 🅿️ Jeonpo Station parking lot, Duwon parking lot, Taeyang private parking, Woongjin parking lot (paid)

It's less than a 5-minute walk from Jeonpo Station Exit 7. It's also not a big deal to get to from Seomyeon Station, so it works well as a lunch date spot in Seomyeon or a stop while wandering around Jeonpo Café Street and Jeonri-dan-gil.
There was a wait, so we waited a bit before getting seated — there's a bench outside, so we sat there chatting while we waited. The wait wasn't too boring at all.
Pickles menu and prices: pizza 22,000–25,000 won, romaine salad 9,000 won
Pickles, made with memories of New York in mind, features lasagna, jambon-beurre pizza, beef cheeseburger pizza, romaine salad, and chicken steak as its signature dishes.

It's also well known as a Jeonpo pasta restaurant, with puttanesca (₩16,000) and bacon cream pasta (₩16,000) on the menu. The Jeonpo pizza lineup includes jambon-beurre (₩25,000), beef cheeseburger (₩24,000), taco pizza (₩25,000), potato pizza (₩23,000), and bacon cheddar pizza (₩22,000). Lasagna is ₩21,000, romaine salad is ₩9,000, and chicken steak is ₩9,000 — all great, light prices to add on.
It works fine as a no-pressure Jeonpo brunch or Seomyeon lunch menu. While I was deciding what to order, I looked around at the other tables — Pickles has really solid set menus, so it seemed like everyone was ordering those.
But we ordered our own way haha. We wanted pizza and a side too.
Inside Pickles: brunch spot by day, date mood by night

The interior looks like a stylish brunch place~

During the day, the good natural light makes it bright and casual, great for a Jeonpo brunch or lunch spot, and in the evening the lighting gets soft, which seems like it would make for a nice date mood.

The space is on the larger side, so it didn't feel cramped, and there was an even mix of friends, couples, and families. The music selection matched the mood too, so I got why people say the space itself is what makes a good restaurant.
What we ordered at Pickles, from romaine salad to a half-and-half pizza

They set the table with the basics along with our 'Pickles~'. They gave us zero-sugar Sprite with a cup of ice, which was such a nice touch~
Ranch romaine salad (9,000 won)

The romaine salad arrives. It's a whole head of romaine with ranch dressing and bacon on top

You just cut off the root end and slice it with a knife into bite-sized pieces. They cut it up pretty ruthlessly (?) for us like below.

The ranch sauce was genuinely so good it perked up my appetite instantly. The bacon adds a salty accent. It's tangy and fresh. It's not greasy at all, so my hand kept reaching for more. A taste I still think about...

Half jambon-beurre, half beef cheeseburger pizza
Then the half-and-half pizza came out, and it was gorgeous even before we tasted it.

The dough looked plump and pillowy, which built up my expectations before even taking a bite.

One half was jambon-beurre pizza, topped with jambon, butter, arugula, pistachio, honey, and tomato sauce, so

between the salty jambon-beurre flavor there was a hint of sweetness. The fresh arugula added freshness too. Jambon-beurre and arugula never fail.

The other half was the beef cheeseburger pizza.

It's topped with beef, cheddar cheese, romaine, and onion, and it genuinely tasted like something familiar.

It really tasted like a high-quality handmade burger patty, which was exactly my personal taste. It was so strange at first that a pizza tasted like a burger haha, but it was so, so good~~~

The visual of the finely shredded romaine piled high on top was also great. The vegetables kept it fresh, so I kept eating.
One half felt like a sandwich, the other like a burger, so we got to enjoy two different charms on a single pizza. It's a combo I'd want to order again exactly like this.
The dough was chewy, and the crust end was especially tasty — good on its own, and equally amazing with a light sprinkle of the smoked salt that came with it.

And ordering one romaine salad meant we had something to eat between bites of pizza, which was so nice. I recommend the pizza + salad combo haha.
Is Pickles worth the wait? Final verdict on this Jeonpo restaurant
- ✔️ 5-minute walk from Jeonpo Station Exit 7, great accessibility
- ✔️ Popular enough in Jeonpo to have a wait even on weekdays
- ✔️ Recommended: half jambon-beurre, half beef cheeseburger pizza
- ✔️ The ranch romaine salad is a must
- ✔️ Brunch by day, date mood by night
Pickles, a Jeonpo Western restaurant that was worth every minute of the wait. There are so many more menu items I want to try next time — pizza, pasta, lasagna — so I'm 100% planning to go back. If you're figuring out a Jeonpo date or Seomyeon date course, I'd recommend stopping by at least once.
