These days Seongsu has so many pretty cafés, but Notldun stood out to me for how clean and refined everything felt, from the desserts in the showcase to the atmosphere throughout the space.

The moment I walked in, I found myself torn over which dessert to get — each one looked genuinely pretty.

The overall space was decorated in white and wood tones. On one side of the store, Notldun's packaging and products were displayed beautifully, and the brand's particular sensibility seemed to naturally carry through the whole space.

The showcase had all kinds of desserts on display, so just looking around was fun in itself.

The first thing that caught my eye was the Notldun Signature Blanc, which looks like a gift box.

The cake, shaped like a white ribbon, was so pretty that I was excited before even tasting it. 🎀

It's a dessert made with a combination of white chocolate, raspberry, and pistachio.

Between the soft cake layers, you get the tartness of raspberry, and with pistachio added, it wasn't just plain sweet — you could enjoy a variety of flavors.

When I cut into the cake, there was raspberry filling inside, which made it look even more appetizing. The soft, fluffy texture paired with the tart raspberry would suit people who love sweet desserts but find overly heavy flavors a bit much.

The Salted Caramel Mille-feuille I ordered alongside had a completely different charm.

Between the crisp layers of pastry was plenty of cream and filling, topped with rich chocolate and a chocolate decoration — it looked luxurious from the start.

The first thing I noticed with the first bite was that signature mille-feuille crunch! The stacked layers of pastry were really crisp, making it fun to eat, and the soft cream blended nicely with the sweet-salty caramel.

If you like that sweet-and-salty salted caramel combination, I think you'll love this one.

Each layer had a different texture and flavor, so I kept reaching for more bite after bite. 🤎

Overall, Notldun was a Seongsu café where every single dessert's visual felt truly special.

Both desserts had such distinct personalities that it was fun comparing their different charms, and the plating overall was so delicate that I felt like I was enjoying a premium hotel-style dessert.

I think this place would work well for spending sweet time in a nice atmosphere on a special day, or for taking a break to enjoy a pretty dessert in the middle of a Seongsu date. 🤍

The clean white-and-wood space made it comfortable to stay a while, and browsing the desserts in the Notldun showcase was an extra bit of fun in itself!
