Chocolate ice cream croffle and Earl Grey cheesecake at Suwon Station café: Tteum Café
In short
Tteum Café by Oneplay Suwon Station is a dessert café in Suwon, Gyeonggi, serving hand-drip and brewing coffee alongside croffles and house-made cakes. A weekend morning visit brought a chocolate ice cream croffle (₩11,900) and an Earl Grey cheesecake (₩9,200); the croffle could have been hotter, but the Earl Grey cheesecake, with its aroma layered through every bite, was especially satisfying. It's the kind of place to go when you want a proper dessert, not just a cup of coffee.

Reading a book and clearing my head at a pretty dessert café on the weekend is one of my precious little healing rituals haha. And near Suwon Station, I found a place that satisfies that need perfectly.
I went early in the morning, so it was quiet like I had the whole place to myself, which was lovely — but what really made the visit was how good the chocolate ice cream croffle and the Earl Grey cheesecake were. So here's my honest review of Tteum Café by Oneplay Suwon Station, a great spot for croffles near Suwon Station :)

It's about an 8-minute walk from Suwon Station, and since you can park free in the building's underground lot for about an hour with a purchase, it's easy to get to.
Even the exterior already feels upscale :)
High ceilings and seating inside
The interior was even more impressive. The open ceiling gives it a grand, airy feel, and the bright, sunny atmosphere really stood out. Being spacious, there were also plenty of seats (with more behind the counter).

Since it's a place for hand-drip and brewing coffee, the range of beans was really impressive. They offer specialty beans like Luwak and Geisha, plus their own signature Kyoto Milano blend.

I also learned the owner has won quite a few coffee-related awards and holds certifications. If you're serious about coffee, this place is worth a visit!!
The furniture showroom space
Another reason the café feels so upscale is the space it shares with a furniture brand called Lady Furniture,

Behind the café there's a Lady Furniture showroom, so it was nice to browse while sipping coffee.

If you leave a Naver receipt review, you get a free signature espresso Roma as a gift, so it might be worth participating haha.
Cold water was available freely near the return station.
Menu and prices

Since this is coffee that's won international awards, the coffee menu had a premium lineup that really stood out.

High-quality coffee deserves high-quality dessert, and croffles are no exception. Tteum Café, a great croffle spot near Suwon Station, had so many croffle varieties that just picking one took some thought. But since I'm a chocolate addict haha, I went straight for the chocolate ice cream croffle without much hesitation.

The cakes made in-house under the Tteum Café brand were also each unique and full of character, nothing predictable. Cheese soufflé and dark chocolat were both right up my alley, so I had a hard time deciding ㅠㅠ, but in the end I couldn't resist the Earl Grey cheese and ordered that haha. It turned out to be an excellent choice.

Just looking at this dessert spread makes me happy ♥

The little axe-shaped knife was cute too haha. The chocolate ice cream croffle came topped with sweet vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup, and it looked delicious even before I took a bite.
The croffle itself could have been a bit hotter and crispier, but the sweetness of the chocolate syrup and ice cream on top made the combination work well! The chocolate syrup wasn't too sweet and had less of an artificial taste, closer to a rich, subtle chocolate flavor.

And then there was this Earl Grey cheesecake, which was so good my eyes went wide!!

The subtle, fragrant Earl Grey flavor came through clearly in both the cheese layer in the middle and the sponge layer below, and it was way tastier than I expected. Highly recommend this one!! If you like sweet desserts, ordering both the croffle and the Earl Grey cheesecake to share would be great haha.
When to go
Tteum Café by Oneplay Suwon Station is a great place to visit when you want to properly enjoy dessert rather than just have a cup of coffee. If you're looking for a great croffle spot near Suwon Station, I'd especially recommend the chocolate ice cream croffle, and if you want something a little different, definitely try the Earl Grey cheesecake.
If you're meeting a friend near Suwon Station and looking for a café, or craving something sweet on a date, and want a Suwon Station dessert café to stop by, this is worth a visit. If you love dessert as much as I do, you'll especially be satisfied :)
