A parents' cake finished for 48,000 won 🐰💗 Trying to figure out what cake to prepare ahead of my parents' anniversary, I found Circus Rabbit, a well-known lettering cake spot in Jamsil, Songpa.
What caught my eye from the start was the signature rabbit design! A cake with an adorable rabbit as the main character was totally my style, so after browsing other designs I ended up booking with Circus Rabbit.
I reserved a day ahead, but they said same-day reservations are possible too, which seems great for anyone who needs a cake in a hurry. Let me go over the design I actually ordered, the price, the flavor, pickup, parking, and how to find the shop. At the end I'll also include the order guidelines I received for the fresh cream cake!
How much is a No.1 whole cake at Circus Rabbit in Jamsil?
The No.1 whole cake I ordered from Circus Rabbit was 48,000 won. I chose the cute rabbit whole cake in No.1 size, with the mom-and-dad rabbit (pink) design and my own lettering text. That said, the price varies depending on the design.

So rather than assuming my 48,000 won price applies to every design, it's better to think of it as varying by design. Since it was a cake for my parents' anniversary, I wanted something cute and warm rather than flashy, and the rabbit design was exactly it.
What the mom-and-dad rabbit cake looked like in person
Circus Rabbit's rabbit cake was even cuter in person than in photos lol.

I had booked pickup for 11:30 am and arrived about 10 minutes early, and the cake was already ready.

The moment I saw the cake, I was genuinely surprised. The rabbits were drawn all plump and round, and it was so cute haha. The design I chose had a mom rabbit and a dad rabbit with my own lettering text added.
Originally the design had the dad rabbit first and the mom rabbit behind, but on the actual cake their positions were swapped. It turned out the owner made the more prettily-drawn rabbit into the mom rabbit on purpose, changing the layout for that reason.
The names were repositioned to match too, and I really appreciated that touch from the owner. It didn't feel like a cake made strictly to a fixed design — it felt like it was finished to look even prettier, and that stuck with me.
No.1 whole cake vs. lunchbox cake: size difference
Every lettering cake design in Jamsil I saw was adorable.

There were so many pretty designs when I was booking that I was curious about the others, but since I visited at 11:30 am after the 10 am opening, many cakes were still being worked on.
So I only got to see about one other design, a lunchbox cake, but it was super cute and pretty too. The lettering font especially made my heart skip lol. The lunchbox cake case itself was small, so comparing it to my No.1 whole cake, the size difference was very clear.

I actually thought the No.1 size would be small, but once I got it, it was about the size of a cake we'd normally eat. It was just right for 4 people to share. On the other hand, if you're looking for something simple for 1–2 people, the lunchbox cake size would suit better.
Milk fresh cream: a sweetness that suits parents
Which flavor did I choose for Circus Rabbit's cake? I went with milk cream, and it was really good to eat with my parents. When ordering, you can choose a flavor, and the options included milk cream, raspberry, seasonal cake, and Oreo choco chip.

I chose the milk cream flavor among them. Tasting it, I could really feel a nutty flavor like real milk, and it wasn't as sweet as a typical cream cake, which I liked. Since it was a cake to share with my parents, I wanted to avoid something too sweet, and it suited my taste perfectly.
Since my family gathered late in the evening, we ended up eating the cake late too, and while eating I kept thinking of coffee. I felt it would go really well with coffee, but I can't drink coffee because of caffeine, so I had it with milk instead. And that was delicious too!! I felt it went well with nutty drinks like milk or coffee.
My parents loved it the moment they saw it, saying it was so cute, and said it tasted great too. By the way, the rabbit's face part was chocolate flavored, and I ate that part first. Cruel, but... it was delicious 😂

KakaoTalk booking and unmanned pickup after 4 pm
For anyone with an awkward pickup schedule, Circus Rabbit's unmanned pickup after 4pm in Jamsil, Songpa was a pretty big advantage.

I booked a day ahead and the response was fairly quick.

After adding the KakaoTalk channel, you just order following the form. There was a brief pause in responses at one point, but it turned out they were in the middle of working on cakes, and after waiting a bit I got a reply again.

And if the pickup time doesn't work, unmanned pickup is available after 4pm, so you can stop by anytime, which I found convenient. This seems especially good for people who have trouble making a fixed pickup time due to work.
Parking and how to find the shop inside Jangmi Complex
Parking was available for 30 minutes at pickup and the lot was spacious, so it was easy even bringing a car. The shop is in B-dong of Jangmi Complex, which might be a bit confusing on your first visit.
I went in through some entrance of B-dong, and Circus Rabbit was right at the door. Checking again on the way out, I found that coming out at Exit 8 of Jangmi Complex B-dong puts you right in front. If it's your first visit, finding Exit 8 is probably easiest. Go in through Exit 8, head down the stairs, and you'll find Circus Rabbit right there.
In the car, I secured it like this in the back seat haha.
The owner was as memorable as the cake
Circus Rabbit's owner was as kind as the cake itself, which stuck with me too.

She spoke so warmly and kindly that I felt good the whole time during pickup. There was also a career history posted on one side of the shop, and her experience was really impressive. That made me even more curious about the taste as I brought the cake home.

Since the shop is called Circus Rabbit, I naturally assumed rabbits would be the main character — but to me, the owner herself was really like a rabbit. She had a cute, rabbit-like impression, and I mean that as a compliment! She was kindness itself, so I went to pick up a cake and came away with a good memory of the owner too.
Who Circus Rabbit is best for
- Anyone looking for a cake for a parents' anniversary in Jamsil
- Anyone who wants to order a cute-designed lettering cake in Songpa
- Anyone looking for a character cake like a rabbit cake in Jamsil
- Anyone who needs a cake same-day or on short notice
- Anyone looking for a Jamsil cake with unmanned pickup available

I ordered a No.1 whole cake + mom-and-dad rabbit design + lettering for my parents' anniversary. The price was 48,000 won and I chose the milk cream flavor.
In the end, my parents loved it, the design was so cute, and the taste was satisfying too, so I'd come back to Circus Rabbit next time I need an anniversary cake. I haven't seen many of the other designs in person yet, though, so I haven't decided what design I'd order next time. This time pickup was early so many cakes were still being made. Next time I'd like to visit with a bit more time to spare and browse the other designs too.
What to know before you order
Summing up what I was told at Circus Rabbit: when ordering, you specify the depositor's name and contact info, date and pickup time, cake size and flavor, decoration options, number of candles, and lettering text. Lettering is limited to 12 characters.
I was told the fresh cream cake uses Italian mascarpone cheese rich in milk flavor, uses reliable ingredients with no synthetic additives, and the cake sheets are baked in-house. It also uses 100% dairy fresh cream.
Here's how the flavors inside the cake were described to me.
- Milk cream flavor → full of milk-flavored cream
- Raspberry flavor → raspberries, marinated strawberries, house-made raspberry sauce
- Seasonal cake → fresh seasonal fruit that changes by season
- Oreo choco chip flavor → cake with Oreo and choco chips
At the time of my visit, I was told the seasonal cake was being changed due to fruit supply issues. Adding decoration colors, decorative leaves, or fresh flowers can incur extra costs, and fresh flower pricing varies depending on the purchase season, variety, and color.
I was told fresh flower cakes can be reserved at least a week ahead. Also, using coloring in the fresh cream can cause color bleeding due to moisture, and they use officially approved Wilton coloring in Korea. They don't take orders for very dark colors due to the bitter taste and staining that coloring can cause, so keep that in mind.
The verdict in one line
A lettering cake in Jamsil, Songpa that satisfied on cute design, taste, and kindness all at once 🐰💗 If you're looking for a cake for a slightly special day like a parents' anniversary, my satisfaction was pretty high. The rabbit design especially was so cute that getting the cake instantly lifted my mood haha.
How about you all — when picking an anniversary cake, which matters more, taste or design? This time I was drawn in by the design, and being satisfied with the taste too was an extra bonus. Next time I'd like to see and order one of Circus Rabbit's other cute designs in person!
