Non-alcoholic draft & honey yogurt for round 2: Ganppa Beer Gwangalli

Today I'm bringing you a review of a bar in Gwangalli that I visited recently and was seriously happy with — Ganppa Beer's 2nd location.

Why we picked this spot for round 2 after a filling round 1

It was hot and we were already stuffed from round 1, so while looking for "somewhere simple and cool for round 2," my friend and I both blurted out "let's go to Ganppa Beer!!!!" at the same time haha.

We used to go to the original Ganppa Beer location often but never wanted to wait in line, so when we heard about the 2nd location, we ran straight over!!!

The moment we stepped in, the Japanese-inspired vibe and the cool beer machines made me think, we picked the right place. 👍

🍻 A Sapporo collab store with perfect beer management

The big ★Sapporo Collab Store★ lettering on the wall catches your eye right away!

One side of the store had a fridge packed full of beer kegs, and the phrase "NO BEER NO LIFE" made it clear this place is serious about its beer. 😆🍻🍺

Every table has a QR/NFC tag ordering system, which made things really convenient. 🥰

📜 Menu & prices (if you're full, just drink — no worries!)

The line that won me over the second I looked at the menu: "If you're full, you don't have to order a side dish♡"

Usually when you go to a bar for round 2, you feel obligated to order a heavy side dish, which can be a lot, right? Ganppa Beer is confident in its beer, so they made sure you could enjoy it lightly without any pressure to order food.

🍺What we ordered🍧 Sapporo draft beer: ₩8,900 / Non-alcoholic draft beer: ₩6,900 / Real honey yogurt: ₩7,900

The side menu — yakisoba, ramen, Osaka chicken, yogurt and more — ranged from ₩4,900 to ₩9,900, which was excellent value!

Real honey yogurt and Sapporo draft beer combo

We ordered the 'real honey yogurt' 🍦 — the ultimate dessert-slash-side-dish — along with the signature Sapporo draft beer and the non-alcoholic draft beer! It's a tangy dessert-style side loaded with real honey and tomato in fresh yogurt.

A sip of beer, then a bite of the sweet-tangy yogurt — it cleansed my palate without filling me up, so the beer just kept going down! Highly recommend this combo.

And the freshly poured Sapporo draft beer — the smooth foam and refreshing crispness spoke for themselves! 👏

📸 A photo zone great for making memories

One side of the store has a retro remote-control TV and a mirror, plus a photo zone packed with photos and guestbook notes from past visitors.

It was a great place to enjoy good beer and also take photos with friends or a partner. It has that hip yet warm izakaya vibe going strong.
