Daengridan-gil café in Anyang with 90-minute parking: Saechamcoffee

Today I want to share my visit to Saechamcoffee (새참커피), tucked into an alley of Anyang's Daengridan-gil, where you can enjoy special drinks and thoughtfully made brunch in a cozy, sentimental atmosphere 😊

It's only about a 5-minute walk from Anyang Station Exit 1, or from Samdeok Park and Jungang Market, so accessibility was really good.

Saechamcoffee hours and how the parking support works

Saechamcoffee's hours are Monday 11:30–22:00, Tuesday through Sunday 10:00–22:00.

Given the nature of the Daengridan-gil alleys, parking can be a worry, but Saechamcoffee had clear parking guidance, which was convenient!

• 🅿️Samdeok Park public parking lot — a 5-minute walk from the store! You get 1 hour 30 minutes of parking support with your café order, so this is my top recommendation.
• 🅿️Gaenari Playground public parking lot — a paid public lot nearby you can also use
• 🅿️Street parking in front of the shops — allowed during lunch hours, 11:30–14:00, so keep that in mind!

Inside Saechamcoffee: a cozy wood-toned room

Stepping inside Saechamcoffee, the soft warm lighting and warm wood-tone interior give it a cozy feel. Signature drink and cookie posters dotted around the walls add an extra layer of charm and warmth.

The tables are spaced quite generously too, making it a great spot for a quiet chat on a weekend morning or a relaxed afternoon, or just for spending time alone.

A cozy atmosphere and a pet-welcoming space

Best of all, the "pet-friendly restaurant" sticker on the entrance was such a welcome sight! It's a kind café where you can comfortably drop by for tea time with your beloved pet.

Besides coffee, Saechamcoffee has a really wide range of drinks and handmade desserts to suit different tastes.

Seeing the honey salt latte, honey butter latte, Nagasaki castella, various levain cookies and scones, I couldn't resist ordering dessert even though I'd already had lunch.

Handmade levain cookies in matcha, chocolate and more — thick, layered, and crunchy.

They also sell coffee drip bags separately, so those would make a nice gift too!

What we ordered: caprese basil sandwich and honey salt latte

Today's order was

Between the crisp-outside, soft-inside ciabatta, it's packed with fresh mozzarella, crunchy and fragrant arugula, bright tomato, and deeply flavorful basil pesto.

With every bite, the pop of tangy tomato, the savoriness of fresh mozzarella, and the basil aroma filling your mouth all come together beautifully. You could feel the freshness of every single ingredient — perfect for a satisfying brunch.
