Cheese sticks and Bulgri ramyeon at a Gireum-dong PC café: ZERO100

Let me introduce ZERO100 PC Gireum, a PC café by Gireum Station that's great whether you're gaming solo or with friends.

Where is ZERO100 PC Gireum, and what kind of PC café is it?

ZERO100 PC Gireum is on the basement floor right in front of Gireum Station, so access is really easy, and it runs 24 hours with CCTV still monitoring, which makes it feel less worrying. It's kept clean, and quite a few people stop by just to print things. When I had a question, the staff explained everything so kindly that it made the whole visit feel good!

There's a self-charging kiosk too, and it's run purely on a membership system, with the integrated member app usable. The smoking area is well separated so the indoor environment stays pleasant, and the premium gaming setup was truly optimized for gaming, haha.

They run two-person couple seats and a five-person team room, so it's also good for coming as a group of friends on a hangout. The five-person room in particular is perfectly set up for a full five-player League of Legends session, so if there's a spot open I'd absolutely recommend it! The seats are a bit separated so you don't feel self-conscious, and the sense of privacy is honestly unbeatable.

Chairs, keyboards and alcohol wipes at every seat

The seats are on the spacious side and the chairs are really comfortable. They're so comfortable that I immediately thought this could double as a place to rest and grab a bite, haha. The keyboards are also the kind with a nice clicky sound that I personally love, great feel on every keystroke, and you can probably already tell just how clean it all looks???

On top of that, for extra peace of mind, there are alcohol wipes for disinfecting, haha. Honestly, huge props for this — it really bumps up the satisfaction. With so many people coming and going, even if staff clean and wipe things down, it can still feel a little uneasy. Being able to watch with your own eyes as it gets wiped clean before you use it is about as good as it gets.

And I thought it was such a smart touch that they set up a little compartment at each seat for requesting food, right alongside where the snacks are listed. No need to call over the staff every single time — you just pick what you need and request it, which was really convenient.

How big is the food menu at ZERO100 PC Gireum?

And oh boy, the food here is on another level??? The variety is almost enough to rival a kimbap chain, and the combinations are so good. Ramyeon is a given, but there's also rice bowls, tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), fried chicken, hot dogs, fries, skewers, and dumplings — pretty much everything except what they don't have.

The drinks are just as varied, rivaling an actual café. Apparently they use good-quality coffee beans, so the coffee tastes great too. There's regular coffee, lattes, ades, and sodas, each available in regular and king sizes, which I really loved. The set menus are also well put together, so you can get a main plus a side drink at a reasonable price.

Gaming is gaming, but you've got to eat first at a PC café, right(?). I'd been wanting to try Bulgri, the one BTS's Jungkook picked, and there it was, so I ordered it — and since cheese sticks were listed as this month's snack, I ordered those too, and somehow it ended up being the perfect combo.

What can I even say about the ramyeon — they cooked it so well, and there's that magic where ramyeon someone else makes for you always tastes best, so I genuinely ended up eating more than I meant to.

The cheese sticks, though — the cheese was seriously generous and rich, such a gem of a snack. The outside was fried up nice and crispy, and the cheese inside was hot and stretchy, and it was less salty than I expected, which made it even easier to keep eating. No wonder it's the monthly snack. Eating them with the sauce that comes alongside is amazing. That cheese pull is genuinely so nice. How could you not eat this. You get two per order, which is right at the edge of feeling like just enough but not quite enough.

Oh, and one more thing — since I ordered the monthly snack, they gave me extra PC time, so I ended up feeling like I got a great deal.
