Located in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo, Sailing Paradise is a Han River yacht tour operator where you can enjoy a yacht ride for about an hour. It is a two-for-one tour with Han River scenery and Seoul night views, but unlike fast-paced water sports, its charm was the leisurely feeling of listening to music and taking in the view as we glided along.
Sailing Paradise Yeouido Hangang Park yacht
Especially if you visit around sunset, the Seoul night view from the yacht is absolutely gorgeous...! I recommend it for a Seoul itinerary, an anniversary date, a small yacht party, or anytime you need healing. So yachts in Seoul are not just for tourists! Anyone can enjoy them! That was what this yacht tour made me think.

Sailing Paradise location and waiting area
The location!! It is at the marina inside Yeouido Hangang Park. The 63 Building was behind us, somewhere right in front of it...!? Haha. Yeouido Parking Lot 1 is right behind it, so parking is relatively easy if you come by car.
Here it is! The 63 Building right behind it

Please refer to the photo below for prices!

It looks like they operate duck boats too...!?

There is also a waiting area, so keep that in mind before your visit!

The Han River yacht I discovered while living in Seoul
Even while living in Seoul, I had almost no reason to ride a yacht. Honestly, I do not think it had ever crossed my mind. I often thought, surely tourists ride them? Surely only very special people enjoy them? But no. Not at all. That was just my fixed idea.
Then I happened to discover Sailing Paradise, where you can take a Han River yacht tour in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo. Riding a yacht on the Han River let me enjoy the river up close, of course, while also taking in Seoul’s scenery from the water.

The atmosphere on the Yeouido Han River yacht tour
That day, there were four of us: us and another couple. I think the number of passengers changes according to that day’s bookings! If you want a more private experience, there is also a private tour course, so keep that in mind, haha. This is the yacht we rode today.
First, as soon as we boarded, they prepared red wine and simple cookies for us. Such great attention to detail, right~? Haha.

With red wine, it felt like I was already getting swept up in the mood right from the start, haha.

Once we got on the yacht and headed toward the middle of the Han River, the appeal of this tour was completely different from what I had expected—and better than expected.

I am such a teto girl, so I thought only speeding along could be fun, but this completely broke that stereotype. A yacht is the opposite: slowly gliding across the water, listening to music, and taking in the Han River scenery at an easy pace. That leisure felt like such a different experience, and a really enjoyable one too.

Even though we were in the middle of the city, floating on the water made it feel as if I had briefly stepped away from a complicated daily life. This yacht tour showed me that racing around is not the only kind of fun—that calmly enjoying the scenery and clearing your mind can be so appealing. Thanks to Sailing Paradise, I discovered that special pleasure.

So I recommend it not only for special days, but also for people worn out by the hamster-wheel repetition of everyday life who need some healing!
I even got to try driving the yacht~~

And had a look around inside~

When to see June sunsets and Seoul night views
The view of Yeouido from the yacht was so pretty, but it is much prettier in person than in the photos, so please make sure to enjoy it from the yacht!

We visited to match sunset time. The sun had not set completely during our ride, but we could enjoy part of the scene gradually getting darker in a sunset gradient.
In mid-June, if you board at 7 PM, you can enjoy a feel similar to my photos; if you board after 8 PM, I think it would be nice for taking in a full night view.

Personally, I think the time slot I boarded was charming because over the hour, I could watch the sky gradually darken in a gradient.
For a couple’s date, an anniversary, a special day that calls for an event such as a proposal, a small party with friends, or whenever you need healing amid a busy routine—enjoy a romantic moment on a yacht with a private, relaxed atmosphere right in the middle of Seoul. I also want to make special memories with my family, so I plan to visit again with them soon.
