Today I'm bringing you a review of 'Yukhoe Maltuout,' a hot spot near Yadang Station where you can really enjoy proper meat pairings with your drinks. I was looking for the perfect place for a drink after work, and it exceeded my expectations — the quality was excellent and the portions were generous, so I left very satisfied!

Not a hint of gaminess, just chewy and savory — the umami spread through my whole mouth with every bite ~🩷
What is Yukhoe Maltuout Paju Yadang Branch, 5 minutes from Yadang Station?

'Yukhoe Maltuout' is a bar located a 5-minute walk from Yadang Station. They use 100% Korean beef, and the liver and tripe come with unlimited refills until they run out!! 🩷🩷

What comes in the 68,000-won 2OUT set?
The set menu looked so good! I wanted the beef sashimi and the Korean beef tataki~~ I wondered if adding ramyeon would be too much, but since meat never really fills you up, we went with the 2OUT. ₩68,000.

Partitioned booth seats at Yukhoe Maltuout
There are tables divided by partitions, giving off a relaxed vibe — perfect for chatting away while having a drink.

There's information posted about different beef cuts and the benefits of ingredients like chives, liver, and tripe. Eating while learning about beef makes it taste even better~👍👍

Porridge, liver and tripe refills, then the beef sashimi
Warm porridge first, on an empty stomach ♡

Eating liver and tripe, which are supposedly good for your liver, alongside drinking?? Isn't that basically allowed then?! 🤣🤣 The staff even came by the table to refill the tripe and liver~ thank you!!
The beef sashimi came out first?! The red color alone looked plump and fresh at a glance. I asked, and they said the sashimi is cut from the shank — apparently it's low in fat, so it has a clean, tender texture.

Of course it's clean and light even just dipped in the sauce~ but especially when placed on minari (water dropwort), the aroma and umami spread through your whole mouth. The minari seasoning is so good!!
Eaten with the seaweed, radish sprouts, cheese, and special sauce that come alongside it, it's a perfect balance of salty and sweet~~💛 As always, following the recommended way to eat it is the tastiest.

Hanwoo tataki with peanut sauce: how much do you get?
And then my beloved tataki! Seared just lightly on the surface for a hint of smokiness, the tataki still keeps all its juices inside~ It's a totally different flavor from the sashimi.
The Korean beef tataki comes served over a bed of onions~ dipped in peanut sauce, the nuttiness is maximized!
The portion is quite generous even for light eaters, and I think it'd be fine for about three women to share! As for us... well, we couldn't stop eating it~ haha. Paired with the sauce and vegetables, it goes down endlessly without feeling heavy at all~🩷

Finishing the night with beef ramyeon
Ahh~ the final course~ After the beef sashimi and tataki delighted our mouths! Here's the beef ramyeon that comes to finish things off.
Even after eating plenty of beef sashimi, ramyeon still just slides right in~🍜 The chewy noodles soaked up the rich beef broth~ and the moment I took a sip of the soup, an involuntary 'wow' escaped lol.

The combination of beef sashimi + Korean beef tataki + beef ramyeon in the '2OUT' set was the perfect pairing with a cold, clean somaek (soju-and-beer mix)!! I ate so happily that the drinks just kept flowing.

Great drinking snacks, topped off with a rich, spicy beef ramyeon finish! It was such a perfect spot that if you're looking for a great place to grab a drink near Yadang Station, I'd recommend this bar two, three times over.
Is the 2OUT set worth it? Final verdict
If you want to enjoy fresh Korean beef sashimi and high-quality tataki at a reasonable price near Yadang Station, I recommend 'Yukhoe Maltuout.' Generous portions, pleasant service, and a spicy beef ramyeon finish — you'll get to experience the best combination here.
