The place is really clean and the staff are so kind, so this time I went with my mom for a nourishing meal at Sugyeokok Bundang Migeum.

What I had was the two-person set that comes with dak hanmari, kalguksu, and chicken neck rice porridge together.

Honestly, the dak hanmari portion was big? Chicken, rice cake, noodles, and porridge too — really hearty and filling ❤️

To sum it up first: it was great to go with my mom because the dak hanmari is light and refreshing with fresh vegetables!! Clean and hearty, just as you'd expect from the Gumi-dong original Sugyeokok!

After eating a good amount of the dak hanmari, I added in the kalguksu noodles too. Putting the noodles into the broth left over after the chicken gave a whole different feel.

The broth had already deepened by then, so the noodles soaked up all that flavor. Honestly, I enjoyed the kalguksu at the end even more than at the start. My mom loves noodles too, so it was great to share.

And at the very end, I had the chicken neck rice porridge too. After the chicken dish and the noodles, finishing with porridge really made it feel like a full, proper meal.
