Shabu-shabu near Namwirye Station: unlimited meat for 21,900 won
Dadam Shabu Shabu & Wolnamssam Wirye Branch is an all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu restaurant on the 3rd floor of G&G Plaza on Wiryegwangjang-ro near Namwirye Station, and for ₩21,900 per person you can eat unlimited vegetables and even unlimited meat. On chilly mornings and evenings like these, shabu-shabu is the first thing that comes to mind for me.
Honestly shabu-shabu is delicious all year round, but it tastes even better once it gets a little chilly!! Here's my review from Dadam Shabu Shabu, a Namwirye Station favorite.

Dadam Shabu Shabu, a Namwirye Station favorite — unlimited meat for ₩21,900! Eating out these days isn't cheap at all. Shabu-shabu in particular is a go-to family meal because you can load up on vegetables and meat, but a lot of places end up pricier than you'd expect once you actually go.

I've already visited here several times, so it's genuinely become my go-to spot. What I like most is the value. For ₩21,900 per person you get all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu, and it's not just the vegetables that are unlimited — the meat is too! Being able to eat as much meat as you want at this price, given how prices are these days, is pretty great.
Dadam's spacious dining room and Wirye Stream view, good for family meals

Dadam Shabu Shabu's dining room itself is quite spacious and the tables are set with generous spacing, which I liked. The space doesn't feel cramped and has a somewhat private feel, so it's good for family visits and also suits gatherings or work dinners with a larger group.

It's a relatively comfortable place to eat even with kids along, and a stress-free choice when you're looking for somewhere for a family meal. Maybe that's why I always see plenty of families here whenever I visit. It's one of the places that comes to mind when I'm eating out with my own family too.
And by the window there's a view of Wirye Stream, so eating here doesn't feel stuffy at all. You'd think a shabu-shabu place is all about the food, but here the space itself is spacious and there's a view too, so you can eat at a more relaxed pace.

What's on the self-bar: vegetables, mushrooms, fish cakes and noodles
Dadam Shabu Shabu's self-bar is stocked with vegetables, various mushrooms, fish cakes, and a range of noodles. Isn't the whole appeal of shabu-shabu piling in a bit of everything for a hearty bowl? With so many ingredients to choose from, it's fun picking what you want.
The vegetables in particular come in a really wide variety, and since they're sourced from the nearby Garak Market, they had a nice overall fresh feel.

With shabu-shabu, the fresher the vegetables, the better they taste and the better the texture holds up once they go into the broth — and being able to bring over whichever vegetables you like, piled high, was really satisfying. On top of vegetables there are mushrooms, fish cakes and all kinds of noodles, so you just pick to your taste. I tend to load up on mushrooms and vegetables when I eat shabu-shabu, and since there's so much variety, a full plate disappears in no time.
And with meat also unlimited on top of that, it's genuinely a feast. Eating plenty of vegetables, plenty of meat, and noodles on top with your shabu-shabu leaves you truly full.
Unlimited meat, Vietnamese rice paper wraps and pineapple at Dadam

Honestly, the biggest reason I keep coming back to Dadam Shabu Shabu is the price. ₩21,900. Just being able to eat unlimited shabu-shabu at that price is already good, but unlimited meat too?! Given how much eating out costs these days, it really feels like great value.

And unlimited Vietnamese rice paper wraps (wolnamssam) on top of everything?! The vegetables are so varied and there's plenty of pineapple prepared too, so I genuinely ended up eating endlessly 💛 Which is exactly why I keep coming back haha. If you're looking for a Namwirye Station spot that's both good and good value, that combination is surprisingly hard to find — but this place pulls it off haha.

Finishing the meal with minari shabu porridge
Of course you have to finish with shabu porridge (juk) haha. Even when I'm stuffed at Dadam Shabu, the porridge is a must! You make it yourself with egg, rice, seaweed flakes and sesame oil, and it's so nutty and delicious ㅠㅠ
Here's a tip — finely chop up some minari from the vegetable corner and stir it in, and it turns into a minari shabu porridge. Even when you're already full, it's the kind of flavor that keeps going down haha.
Dessert at Dadam: coffee and ice cream

After eating your fill of shabu-shabu, you start craving coffee — and coffee is on hand, plus ice cream, so you can round off the meal with dessert. Rather than walking straight out after eating, having a cup of coffee and some ice cream to finish makes the whole meal feel that much more complete!
Having ice cream especially goes down well when you're there with kids. A good meal followed by ice cream makes the kids happy and the adults happy too haha. Small touches like this make it a solid choice for a family meal out.
Why families keep coming back to Dadam in Wirye

Dadam Shabu Shabu isn't the kind of place with a flashy signature dish — it's more that the price is easy on the wallet, the ingredients are varied, the meat is unlimited, the dining room is spacious and comfortable, and it's a good fit for family visits or group gatherings. It just feels like all the fundamentals are solidly in place.

Above all, being able to eat this well and this much for ₩21,900 feels like the biggest draw. Since the vegetables are sourced from the nearby Garak Market, you can pile up as much fresh produce as you like, and with such a wide range of mushrooms, fish cakes and noodles, you can pick and choose without getting bored. And with the meat unlimited too, it's a lineup that'll make any shabu-shabu lover happy!!!

I've already been here several times as my go-to spot, and I'll keep coming back whenever I'm craving shabu-shabu. Especially with eating out feeling this expensive these days, if you're looking for a good-value restaurant near Namwirye Station, it's worth a visit.
- Days you want to eat until you're stuffed
- Days you want to eat as much meat as you like
- Days you want a relaxed meal with family or friends
I'd recommend Dadam Shabu Shabu. Being able to enjoy this much all-you-can-eat for ₩21,900 — of course I'll keep going back! This is my seal of approval as a genuine go-to spot 👍
Takeout is now available at Dadam Wirye Branch
Dadam Shabu Shabu now offers takeout!!! There used to be no takeout option, but visiting after a while I found they'd added it!! The takeout is also great value, so it'd be perfect for a housewarming or whenever you want simple but tasty shabu-shabu at home haha. I'll have to try the takeout next time!
One-line verdict — a Namwirye Station favorite, Dadam Shabu Shabu & Wolnamssam Wirye Branch.
