I had plans with a friend near Myeongnyun Station, and that day I was really craving sushi haha~ While looking for a good sushi place nearby, I found Moshi Moshi Sushi! Went with my friend to Moshi Moshi Sushi, Lotte Department Store Dongnae Branch.

Easy department store parking near Myeongnyun Station

Moshi Moshi Sushi is located inside Lotte Department Store Dongnae Branch. On weekday evenings after work, parking is always a worry when going out for dinner ㅠㅠ But since this place is inside a department store, parking was so convenient!! We parked in the department store lot and took the elevator up to the 8th floor haha.

We made a Naver reservation the day before and visited! There's a menu board at the entrance, so it seemed like a good idea to browse the department store's food court and check out the menu before going in. They also have pork cutlet, soba, and udon, so it looked like a good spot to visit with family and kids too 👍👍

Inside Moshi Moshi Sushi: seating and how to order by kiosk

Inside, it was kept clean and comfortable, as you'd expect from a store located in a department store.

There's a bar table that's great for solo dining, along with 4-person tables and high chairs, so it seemed like a good place to visit alone or with family.

You order by kiosk right at your table. Payment is done at the counter on your way out! On the table were just soy sauce and a small soy sauce dish.

Set 4 for 2-3 people at 71,900 won: what the two price options include

Moshi Moshi Sushi sells everything from individual sushi pieces to set menus, and since I don't know much about sushi, I decided to order a set. We ordered Set 4 (2-3 people). Even for the same set, there are two different prices — the portion size is the same, but the type of sashimi on top of the sushi differs. We went with the higher-priced version at 71,900 won!

Utensils, wet wipes, and paper cups were already set at the table. It seems Moshi Moshi Sushi's main branch is near Pusan National University, and they run three locations in total including Lotte Department Store Dongnae Branch and Gwangbok Branch~!

First out: salad and soft tofu

First, salad, soft tofu, soup, pickled shallots, ginger, and pickled radish came out.

The soft tofu and salad each came with matching dressings, perfect to eat before diving into the main meal.

The 18-piece sushi lineup and how it tasted

The sushi came out as 18 pieces.

With toppings like radish sprouts, chives, and seaweed on top of the sushi, plus the vividly colored sashimi, the visuals were seriously impressive 🤤🤤🤤

Next, the soba came out.

And finally, the shrimp tempura!

It really was a full table 🤤🤤🤍

I tried the shrimp tempura first. Freshly fried and crispy, with completely plump shrimp! 🤍🤍

The soba, with its broth full of shaved ice, was refreshing and delicious mixed with wasabi.

The chewy, savory halibut fin and the springy-textured abalone had their own charm.

Firm, springy shrimp and soft, savory tuna.

Soft, savory salmon and tender eel with a sweet sauce.

Between the fish sushi, there was beef tartare and salty-sweet soy-marinated shrimp. Every single piece was delicious and fresh, and I thought it was a really substantial set ♥

Why Moshi Moshi Sushi works for people who avoid seafood

The two of us ate our fill of sushi. Overall there was almost no fishy taste, and it was fresh and delicious~~~🤍 I'm not a big fan of seafood normally and don't eat much of it, but with so many sides like soba and shrimp tempura here, I didn't get tired of it and could enjoy the meal. The quality of the sushi itself was also great, so if you're looking for a clean, solid sushi restaurant, this place seems worth stopping by haha.
