Suwon restaurant in Haenggung-dong, three dishes for two: Low Five

In short

Low Five Sinpung is a casual Western restaurant on Sinpung-ro in Haenggung-dong, Suwon, serving pizza, pasta and fried rice in one place. Two people ordered three dishes at Low Five Sinpung — a half-and-half pizza (Tex-Mex taco + corn) for 27,000 won, truffle cream pasta for 19,000 won and avocado kimchi fried rice for 14,000 won — and both the combination and the balance were satisfying. It is a good pick for sharing several dishes with a friend or a date.

I went out to Haenggung-dong this time and stopped by a casual restaurant with a multinational vibe that I thought would be perfect for a friend or a date! It's Low Five Sinpung, a well-known Haenggung-dong go-to Western restaurant where you can enjoy all kinds of pizza, pasta, and fried rice together. The composition and balance were so good that ordering three dishes for two people worked out great — here's my review!

What the room and service are like at Low Five Sinpung

✔️ A casual restaurant great for enjoying several dishes together, a clean and spacious interior, friendly service ✔️ Low Five Sinpung is actually a branch of Low Five, which is already famous as a go-to spot!

Clean, spacious interior of Low Five Sinpung

As soon as I walked in, every single staff member was so kind that I was happy the whole meal through. There were tons of guests too — families, friends, couples, all kinds of people 🤤

It had exactly the kind of clean vibe that's great for a date or for chatting with a friend over good food! The kind of place that photographs well, too (so it's no secret I took a selfie there haha).

Half-and-half pizza: corn and Tex-Mex taco for 27,000 won

One of the perks at Low Five Sinpung is that you can order a half-and-half pizza! The half and half (Tex-Mex taco + corn pizza) is 27,000 won. Getting to try two menus at once is just so great 🤤🤤 Since the half-and-half option lets you pick according to your taste, we went with corn and taco split down the middle!

Half and half (Tex-Mex taco + corn pizza), ₩27,000. The corn pizza apparently combines white truffle cream, bacon, chili shrimp, butter seasoning, and corn. Just reading the description already sounds like it can't miss!

It was my first time having corn pizza, and the popping corn with the sweet-savory seasoning was completely my style — total home run pizza! 🍕 That white truffle cream was the real kicker… 🥹

The taco pizza had a spicy chipotle base topped with grilled shrimp, hot chicken, bacon, salsa topping, and cilantro, and the taco's distinct spicy, hearty flavor and aroma were the best! (If you can't do cilantro, you can order it without.) On top of the pizza, the pasta and kimchi fried rice we ordered blended together so well that I'd definitely recommend visiting and trying several menus!

How is the truffle cream pasta at 19,000 won?

Low Five Sinpung's truffle cream pasta is 19,000 won — a creamy pasta with grilled mushrooms and added truffle aroma.

I personally love truffle pasta so I ordered this with high expectations haha. The truffle aroma wasn't overwhelming and was just right, and the rich cream sauce had completely soaked into the noodles — I was fully satisfied.

Avocado kimchi fried rice, 14,000 won — don't skip the avocado

The avocado kimchi fried rice is 14,000 won, kimchi fried rice topped with soft scrambled eggs and avocado! I was originally debating whether to order it without avocado, but once I actually tried it, the avocado added such a nutty, creamy touch that it was the real kicker. If anything, I'd want to add even more avocado.

Three dishes for two at Low Five Sinpung: the verdict

Every single dish was well-executed, so ordering three menus for two people worked out great — I was really glad we ordered pizza and pasta together at this Haenggung-dong go-to Western restaurant, Low Five Sinpung! If you're looking for a casual restaurant that's great for friends or a date, I recommend coming to Low Five Sinpung and trying the pizza, pasta, and avocado kimchi fried rice all together 🥑🍕🍝
