The brick exterior beside Woelgwang Waterside Park
Otter Rabbit House sits just off the main road, tucked slightly inward, surrounded by trees with a quiet atmosphere.

Brick walls, arched windows, and warm wood tones combine for a small European-town-restaurant feel!

With the relaxed scenery of the surrounding park added on top, Otter Rabbit House's atmosphere feels complete!

Inside Otter Rabbit House: window seats and outdoor tables

The interior matches the exterior with wood tones, giving the whole place a cohesive, cozy feel.

There were plenty of seats — window seats, two-tops, and group tables. There were also quite a few outdoor seats, so next time I want to grab a spot outside and enjoy a coffee in the autumn breeze — dibs already called!

I spent today at a window seat. Watching the green trees sway in the wind and cars passing by now and then through the greenery outside really calmed my mind. I'm just built for nature — seeing it makes me so happy and recharged!

How the egg basil French toast and decaf iced americano tasted

I ordered the egg basil French toast and a decaf iced americano.

One plate of brunch, piled high with fluffy French toast and a generous salad!
The bread itself is thick but fluffy, soft, and moist. With a subtle butter aroma and a generous amount of basil pesto, the basil flavor really came through strongly.

Popping the yolk of the soft-boiled egg on top and eating it together with the bread was just so nutty and rich. I basically had a happy brunch meal. Verdict: this place is great for brunch, case closed!!!! With the pickles on the side to cut the richness, I cleared the whole plate.
Decaf coffee usually leans quite acidic at a lot of places, but here it tasted more like a nutty cold brew than something sour. The coffee itself was so good I wanted to come back just for a cup, even without brunch ෆ
Night lighting that feels straight out of Harry Potter

By the time I was leaving, it had gotten dark without me noticing. Once the lights came on at night, the place had a completely different, warm atmosphere from daytime.

It felt like stepping into a scene from Harry Potter — I got to enjoy the feeling of strolling down an exotic European night street!

What's your pick, everyone?! Both day and night were so pretty that I honestly can't choose... Today I've laid out every charm Otter Rabbit House has to offer.
Honest one-line verdict
Like visiting a grandmother's house in the European countryside, where a grandma with great cooking skills makes you her own French toast, and you sip an americano while enjoying the leisure of it all. A day where heading home suddenly turned me into the main character of Harry Potter.
A brunch café by Woelgwang Waterside Park where the atmosphere and the food are both perfect! I'm already booking my next visit to sweep the whole brunch menu.
