Seongsu café lunch break with 4 coworkers: tiramisu soufflé at 5to7

A 5-minute walk from the office near Ttukseom Station to 5to7

I've been working near Ttukseom Station lately. There's a really famous soufflé place in Seongsu, so my coworkers and I decided to go right after lunch! Turns out it's only a 5-minute walk from where I work haha. It's 5to7, a dessert spot famous for its soufflé.

We ate at the cafeteria first then all walked over together. We've been taking a lot of walks in Seoul Forest lately, and it's nice that 5to7 is right on the way to the walking path.

We arrived quickly! The red brick building really has that Seongsu café vibe haha.

We all went up to the 2nd floor together via the stairs. Everyone was excited since we'd heard it was a great spot.

The interior was fairly spacious with lots of wooden-style tables. Our lunch break is a bit early so we basically got there right around noon, almost like an open-run. By the time we finished and left, it was fully booked! There were also a lot of foreign visitors — I guess it's become well known among them too haha.

Why the outdoor terrace is the seat to take

There were tables outside too! The weather's been cool and lovely lately so we decided to sit on the terrace haha. Writing this now, I realize we got there early enough to have our pick of seats lol — by the time we left there were so many people. Sitting out there really let us soak up the Seongsu café atmosphere, so I highly recommend the terrace seats until it gets too cold!

We grabbed a seat then went inside to order. The staff tell you to grab a seat first before ordering, so claiming a table the moment you arrive is essential! Since it's known for soufflé, we had to pick one — but we'd recently had fig bingsu and mango bingsu at another café, so we went with the tiramisu soufflé to switch things up lol.

There were 4 of us, so we each ordered our own drink!

I ordered the signature latte, the 5to7 Supeoni. Whenever I go to a café, I always make a point of trying the signature drink haha.

They say this place photographs beautifully, and even up close the visuals hold up.

And it looks great with the outdoor background too haha. Everyone was taking turns snapping a photo saying how pretty it looked.

My 5to7 Supeoni had a crisp caramel shell layered on top of the cream.

I cracked it open with a spoon and scooped up the sugar pieces with the soft cream together — genuinely delicious (though as tasty as it was, I was a little worried about the calories haha).

We started on the tiramisu soufflé too, and everyone was going crazy over how good it was lol. It's soft and just melts the moment it hits your mouth.

Is one soufflé enough for four people?

Everyone loved sipping coffee and eating a delicious soufflé on the outdoor terrace in weather like this! One soufflé disappears in no time between 4 people lol. We're doing a Seongsu café tour every day and eating sweet desserts constantly, so we just kept it to one soufflé for the four of us lol. But if you set aside a day just for this, I think you could each order your own soufflé and finish it no problem.

At 5to7, a Seoul Forest café, we soaked up that distinct Seongsu-dong atmosphere, stepped away from work talk to catch up on life, and relaxed on the cool outdoor terrace. If you're eating near Seoul Forest, I'd recommend stopping by 5to7 afterward for a delicious soufflé for dessert!
