Seongsu pizza date with meatball and bacon potato: Pizza Slice Seoul
In short
Pizza Slice Seoul is a slice pizza shop in the basement of 159 Achasan-ro, near Seongsu Station in Seoul. A couple each picked one slice to their own taste — meatball pizza and the pizza of the day, bacon potato at 8,000 won — with spicy buffalo wings and a cola, and each slice came out reheated in the oven and bigger than a palm. Where is Pizza Slice Seoul near Seongsu Station?
Pizza Slice Seoul is a slice pizza shop on the basement floor of 159 Achasan-ro in Seongsu-dong. Today my boyfriend and I came out for a long-overdue Seongsu date. We're both pizza lovers! Honestly, my boyfriend usually just goes along with whatever I want to eat, but at Pizza Slice Seoul he doesn't have to — we can each just get the slice we want! So here's my review of Pizza Slice, a Seongsu pizza spot 〰️

You can tell it's Seongsu just from the exterior, right?

It's on the basement floor. Just head down the stairs and you're there.

What the couple ordered and what it cost
Today's pizza was bacon potato pizza, priced at ₩8,000. We ordered today's pizza, meatball pizza, buffalo wings (spicy), and a cola.

On one side of the shop, you could watch in real time as they stretched the dough and piled on the toppings with real care. The freshly baked pizza smell from the clean open kitchen filled the whole place — fun to watch and fun to eat, both at once.

So many pizza types to choose from!

My pick here was meatball ❤️ my boyfriend's pick was bacon potato 🥔

Ordering a whole pie means agonizing over the menu, but here the mouth-watering slices are laid out in a colorful showcase, so it's genuinely fun to mix and match and taste a bit of everything.

Inside Pizza Slice Seoul: wood-toned room and seating
The Seongsu branch of Pizza Slice Seoul is a basement space with wood-toned interior that feels like a café. And honestly, isn't this clean interior just gorgeous? The moment we walked in, the tidy, woody atmosphere instantly put me in a good mood. It really feels like a café!

The heavy yet warm wood interior gives you a welcoming feeling! Sunlight fills the whole space, making it feel really fresh and clean. None of the typical greasy pizzeria vibe — it felt like stepping into a clean, emotional café, a healing space from the moment you walk in.

There's quite a lot of seating too, so it would work well for couples, solo visits, or groups! I came with my boyfriend, and it really felt like a proper date after a while 🤍

The view out the window is nice and green 🍃

For sauces on the side, there's hot sauce, oregano, pepper, and more — nice to add according to your taste!

How do the meatball pizza, bacon potato slice and buffalo wings taste?
The slices at Pizza Slice Seoul get reheated in the oven once more before serving! They come out bigger than your palm, so for one person, one pizza slice plus one side dish is just about perfect.

My pick was the meatball pizza 🩷 the meatballs tucked between every bite were so good! At first I thought it might be a bulgogi pizza, but nope, it was meatballs — my first time trying meatball pizza, and it was delicious.

This is the buffalo wings — salty and spicy, great to eat once you're getting a little tired of the pizza! The celery and mayo sauce on the side are a nice kick too.

My boyfriend says the bacon potato, drizzled generously with hot sauce, was his top pick!

The vibe was insane — highly recommend for a date spot!
Why Pizza Slice Seoul works for a Seongsu date course
