Where is Pizza Slice Seoul in Seongsu?

Walking around Seongsu-dong, you'll find tons of stylish cafés and restaurants. Today I'm writing about one of them — Pizza Slice Seoul, a solo-friendly pizza spot in Seongsu that's perfect when you just want some salty American-style pizza by the slice.

Pizza Slice Seoul is located in the basement level of 159 Achasan-ro, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, about a 6-minute walk from Seongsu Station exit 2, so it was easy to find.

What the basement shop looks like inside

Walking in, the place felt different from a typical pizzeria. It had that clean, stylish, hip atmosphere so specific to Seongsu-dong — a space where you could enjoy both the pizza and the hangout.

The tables and chairs near the entrance were done in white tones, while the middle seating area was beige wood-toned, giving the space a tidy, cozy feel. In contrast, the music playing was a beat-heavy, super hip New York-style hip hop, which made it even more fun.

Separated from the café out front by a floor-to-ceiling glass wall while still feeling connected, the space had a great sense of openness.

The slice menu at Pizza Slice Seoul and how to order

The pizza display case had all kinds of pizzas laid out, looking delicious and fresh.

The menu included various slices like cheese, pepperoni, mushroom, and jalapeño & cream cheese, along with sides like homemade meatballs, fries, and buffalo wings, plus drinks and cocktails.

After ordering at the counter, you get your pizza fresh and warm straight out of the oven.

Jalapeño & cream cheese slice 7,400 won and Coca-Cola Zero 3,000 won

The first thing I ordered was the jalapeño & cream cheese slice and a Coca-Cola Zero. Soda refills were available. Sometimes you want pizza but ordering a whole pie feels like too much for one person to finish alone —

At Pizza Slice Seoul you can just pick the slices you want, and the space is comfortable for solo diners like me, making it a great pick for a solo pizza meal in Seongsu. The pizza itself had that salty American-style pizza flavor, and the spicy jalapeño cut through the richness of the cream cheese nicely — a great combo.

The second slice I ordered was the homemade meatball. First-timers might be surprised at how big a single slice is. It's larger than expected but thin, so it's satisfying without feeling like too much for one meal.

My mom at home loves pizza too, so I packed up a slice of the white Hawaiian, figuring it would be the least salty option. The packaging was done really nicely. The staff kindly asked whether I wanted it reheated or packed as is for takeout — since I was heading home in the evening, I asked them to pack it without reheating.

The bottom crust was nicely crisp, and the big meatball toppings blended well with the cheese — the kind of flavor that made me happier with every bite.

Why Pizza Slice Seoul works for eating alone

I really liked the vibe of walking in as casually as you would to a café alone, eating a few different pizza slices, and heading back out.

Between the gray concrete walls, the green trees and the red logotype lettering on the glass felt lively, and since it was a rainy day, the view through the window was really nice too.

Seongsu-dong has so many fun spots to wander around alone. After shopping or hitting up a café, stopping by Pizza Slice Seoul for a solo pizza break in Seongsu before heading back out to explore more sounds like a good plan.
