Chinese bibimbap solo meal near Dongdaegu Station: Gyeryonggak

This time I'm introducing a solid spot — a Dongdaegu restaurant, a great place for Dongdaegu work dinners, a Sincheon-dong Chinese restaurant: Gyeryonggak. Bbabam!

Where is Gyeryonggak, and what are its hours?

Gyeryonggak is located at 54 Dongdaegu-ro 85-gil, 1st and 2nd floor, Dong-gu, Daegu (Sincheon-dong 75-9, Dong-gu, Daegu), South Korea. It's 441 meters from Exit 2 of Dongdaegu Station, right next to the Lions Club building and right next to the Dongdaegu police substation.

Dongdaegu Station and the Shinsegae Department Store are also nearby, so it's a great spot to eat before or after a visit there~! If you're ever unsure, just call the restaurant and they'll kindly guide you~^^

Gyeryonggak's menu and the cash payment discount

I liked that Gyeryonggak had the discount event prices posted outside. There's a discount if you pay in cash, and I noticed Chamisul soju and Cass beer were sold at lower prices too!

There's a wide variety of menu items~! The menu board explains everything really well! You order through the table kiosk~^^ Since Bbangi (the writer) came all the way to Daegu, I ordered the junghwa bibimbap (Chinese-style mixed rice). Haha.

There are also hair ties set out on the table, so feel free to use one if you need it!

Junghwa bibimbap with jjamppong broth: what comes on the tray

Gyeryonggak's junghwa bibimbap came out as a generous full spread. Haha, how could it not taste good with a visual like that?

The jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup) broth came out too. Haha, eating it alongside the broth makes it even more delicious.

It was loaded with all kinds of seafood and meat, so I could really enjoy the texture. Let me mix it all up and dig in~^^ Haha.

It was so good I ate it in a hurry. I think this would be great to come to with parents, friends, or a partner!

After eating well, I took a Bbangi-cha (Bbangi's selfie). It was so tasty it felt like zero calories!

Is Gyeryonggak good for solo dining and group dinners?

BMI 29 Bbangi enjoyed the junghwa bibimbap at this solid Dongdaegu restaurant, great Dongdaegu work-dinner spot, and great Sincheon-dong Chinese restaurant: Gyeryonggak~! It was so good I'm planning to come back~! The staff working there were also kind and welcoming, which I appreciated.

The restaurant also has a second floor, so it seems great for gatherings or work dinners, and it works just as well solo like Bbangi did, or with parents, friends, or a partner!
