Honestly, I found this place while searching for a crispy-and-moist Hong Kong waffle I was craving, but the waffle turned out even better than expected, and the charming kitties gave me a proper healing session too haha 🐾 Here's my honest review!

Where is Nyanya, and what about hours and parking?

Nyanya is a dessert café at 174 Gwangdeok-daero, Unit A-502, Danwon-gu, Ansan-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. It's open Tue–Sun 12:00–22:00, last order at 21:00, and closed on certain weekdays. There's parking inside the building, so it was easy to get to by car too.

Inside Nyanya: pink cat castle and ivory-wood interior

The moment I walked in, the first thing that caught my eye was a giant pink cat castle!

A big, pink, castle-shaped cat tower — such a cute idea, and watching the cats rest inside or prop their chins on the balcony loafing like bread really felt like a scene out of a fairy tale!

The overall interior was so full of ivory/wood-toned decor and lighting that it was hard to believe cats actually live there!

Usually when there are cats around, you might expect a certain smell or a messy space, but Nyanya, this cat café in Gojan-dong, Ansan, had zero odor — instead it felt like a calm, moody studio you could relax in under the soft lighting, which made it perfect for a date course! ꯁ

We sat in this spot — the sofa was so soft, and doesn't the vibe just feel amazing? Even the little touch of cute stuffed animals decorating the side..🧸✨

How did the seasonal fruit Hong Kong waffle taste?

After some deliberation, we ordered the seasonal fruit Hong Kong waffle and two iced Americanos!

It was crispy outside and moist inside, way tastier than I expected! The combination of sweet whipped cream and fruit was fantastic, and paired with the Americano it made for a perfect dessert time ☕️🧇
