Gimhae Korean restaurant: gamjatang for 3 with self-made fried rice
In short
Ppyeodae Itneun Haejangguk Gamjatang Yulha Branch is a gamjatang (pork bone soup) and haejangguk (hangover soup) restaurant near Lotte Outlet and Lotte Water Park in Yulha, Gimhae. The blogger ordered the gamjatang for 3, added noodles from the self-serve bar, and finished with self-made fried rice — the meat on the bones was large, smell-free, and pulled apart easily. With parking and a baby chair on hand, it's an easy pick for family meals too.

I went to Ppyeodae Itneun Haejangguk Gamjatang Yulha Branch, a Gimhae Yulha restaurant near Lotte Outlet and Lotte Water Park :) This place is also well known as a local favorite in Yulha — actually one of the spots I come back to regularly.

Parking is behind the building. At the entrance there were banners with photos of the restaurant's signature menu items, which made my mouth water even more.
Interior atmosphere and family-friendly amenities

The interior was bright and clean, which I liked. There were plenty of tables with generous spacing, so I could relax and enjoy the meal. Most of the guests seemed to be there for gatherings or family meals — good food really is better shared.

I also spotted a certificate for a Korean Food Master. A restaurant certified as a Korean food master, how could it not be delicious?

Disposable aprons are provided, and there's a baby chair for families visiting with little ones.
What's on the unlimited self-serve add-in bar

The unlimited self-serve add-in bar was also run neatly and cleanly.

You can help yourself to plenty of noodles, dumpling dough (sujebi), rice cake, potato, kkakdugi (radish kimchi), kimchi, chili, onion, ramen noodles, and more. Just take what you can actually eat!

At Ppyeodae Itneun Haejangguk Gamjatang Yulha Branch, a Gimhae Yulha favorite, you can also get grilled bones, gamjatang, haejangguk, and hot pot rice (sotbap). Having it alongside sotbap makes the meal even more filling.

There was also a country-of-origin board listing where each ingredient comes from.
Menu and what we ordered

True to a Korean food master restaurant, the menu covers a lot of ground — Master's full-table set, gamjatang, grilled bones, haejangguk, sliced boiled pork, sotbap, and more.
- Gamjatang for 3 (single item) ₩43,000
- Self-made fried rice ₩3,000
- Rice bowl ₩1,000
- Pepsi Zero ₩2,000
This is what we ordered.
Robot-served side dishes: kkakdugi and geotjeori kimchi
A robot brought out the side dishes quickly and efficiently, haha. It set each one down and then rolled itself back to the kitchen. Bye~

You know a gamjatang and haejangguk place is the real deal when the kkakdugi and kimchi are good. Here both were delicious, haha. The kimchi has a geotjeori (fresh, unfermented) style, so it's even crunchier.
Gamjatang for 3: how was the meat on the bones?
Soon after, a staff member brought out the gamjatang.

Ta-da! The gamjatang came out piled up like a mountain. With king oyster mushrooms stamped with the Ppyeodae Itneun logo sitting on top, it looked even more appetizing.

Look at the size of these bones, packed with meat... There was also plenty of ugeoji (dried napa cabbage leaves), so it felt like a healthy meal.

They boil it together with whatever add-ins you brought from the self-serve bar, haha. I love sujebi and rice cake, so I brought those along with glass noodles.
There was really a lot of meat on the bones. The pieces were huge too, so even one was seriously filling. No smell, not chewy at all — the meat pulled off smoothly and easily. Picking meat off the bone is usually half the work when eating gamjatang, but here it came off so easily that I finished quickly.
The meat itself is clean-tasting and savory enough to eat plain, but dipping it in this garlic sauce brings the flavor up another level.

Finishing with self-made fried rice
I considered getting ramen noodles, but we went with the self-made fried rice instead. Full or not, fried rice is a must. You just leave a little broth in the pot, add the fried rice ingredients, and stir-fry it yourself.

It comes with seaweed, pickled radish, and kimchi for a crunchy texture that made it even tastier. Finish it off with a cold slushie and the meal is complete!
