Daegu café with Haagen-Dazs waffle and lemon juice tea: Hands Coffee

Today I'm bringing you a review of one of my go-to spots — the big café Hands Coffee in Dongchon Resort, Daegu. Every time I go, the riverside view and lush greenery at Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch feel so healing. They also have a full parking lot and floor seating, making it easy to visit with kids. Let's get into the review^^

Where is Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch, and what are the hours?

Hands Coffee, a café in Dongchon Resort, Daegu, is located right next to Daegu Il Meister High School. It's not hard to find.

• Building uses floors 2–4 / Elevator ⭕️ / Separate men's and women's restrooms ⭕️

• No pets, no smoking, no outside food allowed

This large café, Hands Coffee in Dongchon Resort, Daegu, occupies a 4-story building where the 1st floor is a restaurant and the café uses floors 2 through 4. There's a parking lot right in front of the building, which makes it convenient. Even if it's full on weekends, you can park along the roadside, so parking is never a worry.

You order on the 2nd floor, and since there's an elevator, it's also great for stroller access.

This time, Hands Coffee in Dongchon Resort, Daegu, has rolled out a brunch menu! And they're even selling summer bingsu (shaved ice dessert) now! So many options, love it.

We're going to take the stairs. Hands Coffee has decorated even the stairwell so nicely.

Once you step onto the 2nd floor, there's a kiosk. You can order there, or at the counter right next to it.

Cold brew gift sets and even specialty tea bags! Hands Coffee is also famous for its specialty coffee, right~ Great as a gift! And the cute little props and elegant interior really catch the eye.

The highlight of Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch is definitely being able to look out at the river and lush green scenery through the floor-to-ceiling windows! The view is amazing^^

The 3rd floor is also impressive, with a spacious seating area and floor-to-ceiling windows. There are lots of seats even toward the back, and every spot has that window view, making it a wonderful healing spot!

With kids, take the 4th-floor floor seating

The highlight of the 4th floor is the floor seating! If you're coming with kids, I recommend this spot!

The inner area is also set up as a raised platform for sitting, so if you're coming with a young child, head this way! Haha

The 4th floor of Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch has a rooftop you can step out onto. It's a bit much right now because of the heat, but come spring or autumn, this must be a popular spot, right? Absolutely no smoking though! Don't forget haha.

At this large café, Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch in Dongchon Resort, Daegu, you order at the kiosk or order bar on the 2nd floor.

Since Hands Coffee is famous for its specialty pour-over coffee, I'd recommend it if you like pour-over^^ There are also many other types of coffee — the long black, similar to iced Americano, was priced at ₩5,000, and there were plenty of drinks for kids too, which I loved.

In particular, they now have brunch sets, so if you haven't eaten yet, brunch would be perfect!

From the Double Tray Set to single items! Brunch runs until 3pm, so keep that in mind^^

From waffle sets to cakes! Isn't that bear just too cute? Haha. So many desserts, I'm happy haha.

Haagen-Dazs ice cream waffle and iced lemon juice tea

Since we'd already eaten, we simply ordered a waffle. It's the Haagen-Dazs ice cream waffle, and you can pick two flavors of ice cream, so we chose chocolate and vanilla. Cream comes along with it too^^

It's delicious even plain, but with the ice cream and cream too! Dip it however you like and it's absolute honey, haha.

And I ordered the lemon-squeezed tea, iced, for the first time in a while. Back in winter, I remember drinking Hands Coffee's lemon tea hot once and it was so delicious haha. Hands Coffee's lemon tea has a noticeably stronger lemon flavor compared to other places. Must be because it's made with freshly squeezed lemon. This time I tried it iced. As expected, the rich lemon flavor was refreshing and top-notch! Totally my style haha.

Restrooms are on the 3rd and 4th floors, and there's only one men's restroom, on the 4th floor, so keep that in mind!
