Suwon café for a grain latte shopping break: Jeong Jiyeong

When you shop at Starfield Suwon, you end up walking much more than you expect, so at some point a café break becomes absolutely necessary. 💓 I stopped by while shopping that day because I wanted to rest for a moment with a cold drink! As it turns out, it is already quite a famous café in Suwon.

They have a wide range of cakes as well as drinks! It looked like a lovely place for anyone looking for a good place to eat or a dessert café at Starfield Suwon. :)

An easy stop right in the middle of shopping

What I loved most was that it is inside Starfield! There was no need to go anywhere else—I could pop in straight from shopping, which was so convenient. It is in just the right spot when you want a quick break during shopping or a cup of coffee after a meal.

Drinks and cake menu

Looking over the menu, there were lots of choices, from coffee and lattes to sweet drinks. And then the cakes caught my eye too... 💓💗 They had a great variety of cakes, so it would be nice to enjoy a drink and dessert together. I had only stopped in for a quick drink while shopping that day, so I did not order a cake, but next time I would love to try one with coffee. 🍰😋

If you are looking for coffee in Suwon, a coffee-and-cake combination would be lovely here. ☕️🍰 With so many dessert options, it works for a simple coffee stop or for sitting down and taking a more leisurely dessert break.

The interior and seating atmosphere

The inside was quietly more spacious than it looked from outside. Since it is a café in a mall, I expected it to be small, but there was more seating than I thought, making it a nice place to rest for a while over a drink.

The overall atmosphere was clean and comfortable, so it is a solid option for anyone visiting Starfield and looking for a good café in Suwon! Since it is already well known in Suwon, lots of people seemed to naturally drop in while shopping too.

Perfect for a shopping break

Personally, at a large mall like Starfield, having a café where you can rest comfortably in the middle is important. This one was easy to get to because it is inside Starfield, and I was happy with how surprisingly spacious it was. The shopping → café → more shopping route was perfect too!

There are lots of drink choices and cakes too, so I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to eat at Starfield Suwon, or a Suwon café with a nice atmosphere. I enjoyed both the strawberry latte and the grain latte! Next time, I should order a cake as well and enjoy it at a more relaxed pace. ☕️🍰

What I ordered

Strawberry latte

The first thing I ordered was the strawberry latte! The combination of tangy-sweet strawberries and smooth milk is, of course, impossible to get wrong. The strawberries' signature sweetness really came through, while the milk rounded it out smoothly, so it was easy to drink without feeling heavy. I was a little tired from shopping, but one cold, sweet strawberry latte felt like a proper sugar boost hahaha. I would recommend it if you normally enjoy strawberry drinks. 🍓

Grain latte

And the grain latte was even more satisfying than I expected! It had a rich nutty flavor and a smooth texture that kept me reaching for another sip. It was not just overly sweet; it was nutty with a subtle sweetness, giving it a totally different charm from the strawberry latte. If the strawberry latte feels tangy and sweet, the grain latte feels nutty and comforting!〰️ Ordering both was fun because I could alternate between them, and they made a pretty good pair. It is nice that there are plenty of options for people looking for drinks other than coffee, too.
