Taegine Jogae Jeongol Geomdan Ara Branch is located at 1F, 118·119·120-ho, 3M Tower, 24 Ieum 5-ro, Geomdan-gu, Incheon. It's open daily from 11:00 to 22:00, with a weekday break time of 15:00–16:00 and no break time on weekends or holidays. 🚘Parking is in the 3M Tower underground lot, free for 2 hours.
Taegine Jogae Jeongol is on the first floor of the 3M Tower, just a 6-minute walk from Ara Station Exit 8, so it's really accessible. Using the building's underground parking is convenient too, and with 2 hours free, you can enjoy a relaxed meal.

What time does the weekday evening wait start?
I visited before 6pm on a weekday, and true to a popular Geomdan New Town restaurant, it seemed like the wait starts to build after 6:30. Worth keeping in mind — visit a bit earlier, or browse the menu while you wait and decide in advance :)
Inside the restaurant
The interior is clean and pleasant, spacious with generous spacing between tables — perfect for a date, but also great for group gatherings or work dinners. They even have a baby chair, so it felt like a good spot for a family meal.
The self-serve corner: barley rice, side dishes and ice cream
One thing I especially loved was the self-serve corner on one side of the restaurant, where you can freely help yourself to barley rice, white rice, side dishes, and even ice cream.
While waiting for the food, I mixed some seasoned greens into the barley rice and it was honey-sweet delicious! 😋 I think this self-serve corner might be Taegine Jogae Jeongol's own special kick :)
Taegine's menu and what we ordered
The menu ranges from clam hot pot to bossam (boiled pork wraps), seafood jjim, pollack stew, and even donkatsu and fried food that kids love — a lineup the whole family can enjoy. We ordered the tang-bossam set for two, which comes with clam soup and bossam together at a great price, and the portion was no joke 😀

How does the clam soup broth taste?
🍽️ Clam soup — a clear, spicy-ish, refreshing broth simmered with plenty of fresh clams
First up, the clam soup! For the tang-bossam set, you can choose from clam soup, spicy seafood stew, or pollack stew, and we went with the clear-broth clam soup.
The broth, carefully simmered with fresh vegetables and plenty of cheongyang chili, plus loads of seafood added in, had such deep flavor — cool and spicy-ish, I kept scooping more spoonfuls 😋
Dipping the fish cake skewers into wasabi soy sauce and fishing out clam after clam was honestly fun.
Mini bossam and kalguksu to finish
🍽️Bossam — a mini bossam you can enjoy without guilt when you want a bit more meat. The bossam is meant as a taster, but it's quite generous. All this for ₩14,000 per person? I wrapped a tender, mild slice of bossam with garlic, pickled radish, and pollack roe oil sauce, and it was delicious.
Already full, but of course you have to finish with kalguksu 😁
The noodles felt a bit different from regular kalguksu — they cooked quickly and had a soft, chewy texture I loved. Topped with bean sprouts for crunch and paired with kimchi, I slurped it all down happily :)
Is Taegine worth a visit in Geomdan?
Being able to enjoy hearty seafood dishes at such a reasonable price was really great! If you're looking for a seafood restaurant in Geomdan New Town, I'd recommend visiting Taegine Jogae Jeongol Geomdan Ara Branch :) They're also running a review event giving away garlic shrimp right now~
