We were hosting a housewarming dinner that evening, so before heading out to shop for groceries, we decided to keep lunch simple! I wondered what quick meal spot there might be in Maetan-dong, and that's how I found this place — let me introduce Suwon's handmade burger spot, 666 Burger 〰️ I'd actually been here before and loved it, so this was a repeat visit 👏🏻

In front of the store there are banners for the burger menu and one showing that parking is available! It's such a hassle to come for a quick bite and then struggle to find parking 😢 This place lets you park right behind at Baekja Apartments, which made it super convenient 💯
Inside 666 Burger: an open kitchen in a triangular red building
666 Burger Main Branch has an open kitchen, so the cooking area is visible the moment you walk in. The building itself is triangular, so sitting by the window gives you a rather unusual view outside.
Walking in, you see a clean, well-kept kitchen! Because it's open, you can also tell right away whether it's being managed properly. When the cooking space is open like that, any mess feels unsettling — but Suwon's handmade burger spot 666 Burger seemed to be kept quite clean, so that put my mind at ease 👏🏻
The devil says "It was the most delicious burger I've ever eaten." The devil himself is saying it's the best burger he's had?! Even the devil approves of this Suwon handmade burger spot — I was curious how it would actually taste. Since I'd been here before, I picked the menu item I remembered loving haha
Even the baby chair is bright red! Red really does seem to be 666 Burger's signature color~
The weather was so nice that day, it was lovely to look up at the sky through the window! And because the building itself has this odd triangular shape, sitting and looking outside felt strangely interesting too!
The stylish posters on the wall stood out too!
Next time I'd like to try some of the other side menu items besides burgers!
Seeing the poster with cheese oozing down made me hungry all over again.. 🍔
Can you eat alone at 666 Burger? Seating and the self-serve bar
Seating at 666 Burger Main Branch is mostly 2- and 4-person tables — not a huge number of seats, but plenty of solo diners were there. Water, ketchup, and hot sauce are self-serve from a bar and a fridge.
There aren't many seats, but it's perfect for solo diners! Mostly 2- and 4-person tables, yet a lot of customers were eating alone~ It's the kind of simple meal you could grab quickly, so if I lived nearby I'd probably come often!
The self-bar has wet wipes, spoons, forks, paper cups, tissues, hot sauce, salt, and pepper(?) all ready to go!
There's water and ketchup in the fridge, so just help yourself!
Country of origin, nutrition facts, and even allergy information are all listed in detail~ It was great to be able to check for allergens or ingredient origin before choosing!

How The Mushroom tasted: grilled onions, mushrooms and a Korean beef patty
The Mushroom burger at 666 Burger stood out for the texture of its grilled onions and finely chopped mushrooms, and the 100% domestic beef patty gave it a distinct flavor. The fries served alongside were different from the usual thin-cut kind and tasted wonderfully nutty.
I found those grilled onions absolutely delicious! The finely chopped mushrooms on top of the patty also had such a great texture.
And the fries that came with it were different from the usual thin fries you normally see — they had this nutty, satisfying taste!
Being a 100% domestic beef patty, the flavor was noticeably different! No gamey meat smell at all, and there was so much cheese packed in that it tasted rich and savory.
The size itself is completely different from a regular chain burger, right?! The portion was just right too — one burger alone was enough to fill me up!
It looks so pretty too — a burger that photographs well no matter how you shoot it 🍔
It was also loaded with vegetables, and I loved the extra crunch that gave the burger.
