Cham Dwaejitgan Bucheon Sinjung-dong Branch is a 24-hour Korean BBQ restaurant near Sinjung-dong Station in Bucheon, Gyeonggi. Four diners ordered one serving each of five cuts — black pork belly, black pork neck, Boseong green tea-fed pork belly, pork neck, and cheongyeopsal (pork jowl) — to compare, finishing with minari (water celery) fried rice. With plenty of group seating and round-the-clock hours, this is the first place that comes to mind for a group gathering in Sinjung-dong.

At a floor-to-ceiling window seat I had the boribulgobi (dried yellow corvina) set and poured the cold green tea that came with it over my rice — not salty, firm texture, total rice-thief. On this fifth visit, the writer ordered the usual corn pizza and the daily-limited classic lasagna alongside avocado kimchi fried rice for the first time, and the egg scramble and avocado mellowed the spicy fried rice better than expected. Corn pizza remains a must-order at Low Five, and avocado kimchi fried rice is now a combo worth ordering without hesitation.

On the Rail is a large bakery café by a real railway line on Imjingak-ro in Munsan-eup, Paju, Gyeonggi. Stopping by on an early-autumn drive to Imjingak, we sat inside for vanilla latte, iced americano, and double choco bread — the beans tasted nutty and the choco coating was sweet. With a flat, spacious parking lot and hours until 2am, it also works as a late-night café in Paju.
