I’m a true bread lover who honestly likes bread more than rice meals! I love every kind of bread, but lately I’ve been completely obsessed with sandwiches, you know?

There’s a seriously great sandwich spot near Unjeong in Paju that I absolutely love, and it’s so delicious that I had to tell you about it! It’s Boulangerie Tan Unjeong Main Branch, which I bet so, so many of you already know! Ever since it opened, there has never been a break in the stream of customers—this place is a truly fantastic bakery!

Their salt bread, meal breads, and desserts are all truly delicious, but the sandwiches are unbelievably good! And if you live nearby, you can even have them delivered through Baemin, which makes ordering nice and easy!

Boulangerie Tan Unjeong Main Branch hours and visit tips

The regular closing days are Sunday and Monday. On all other days, weekdays and weekends alike, it opens at 10:00 AM and closes at 6:00 PM!

🔻Just so you know, after 3:00 PM🔻 many breads are sold out, so I recommend visiting as early as possible!

🔻The first one I chose🔻 was this pastrami chipotle sandwich, one of my all-time favorite sandwiches!

It’s packed with pastrami, a smoked beef deli meat! 🔻It comes with ham, cheese, jalapeños, and arugula,🔻 and the real kick here is the chipotle sauce!

I already love chipotle sauce, but the one here has this lightly spicy kick and is especially delicious! 🔻And another reason the sandwich is so good🔻 is that the bread itself is incredible!

It feels a bit like ciabatta, but it’s toasted crisp, so the texture is soft yet chewy—absolutely the best, the best!

By the way, Boulangerie Tan has lots of sandwich choices, but every single one is delicious—this is a truly, truly great sandwich place! Besides the one I chose, their jambon-beurre and carrot râpée sandwiches and more are all delicious, so I really recommend choosing whichever suits your taste and trying one!

Boulangerie Tan’s salt bread is already so delicious: properly crisp outside and soft inside, with just the right buttery richness, saltiness, and chew. So imagine how delicious that sweet-salty combination becomes when this tasty salt bread is filled with sweet, soft milk cream!

The cream is so soft, gently sweet because it’s milk cream, and it simply melts in your mouth. It’s seriously so delicious!
