Is parking easy at M Tower in Buldang-dong?
Jinsim Wang Donkatsu Cheonan Buldang is on the 1st floor of M Tower in Buldang-dong, and since the building has basement parking, it was easy to park! There was a staff member managing the lot who guided us in, so parking was a breeze 😊
Coming up to the 1st floor, you immediately see Jinsim Wang Donkatsu. The place is clean and spacious, isn't it? There are two entrances — we came in through the front one!
Inside Jinsim Wang Donkatsu: seating and what's there for kids
Once inside, you see a bright, open hall. There are lots of tables with generous spacing, so it wasn't uncomfortable at all to move around.

The tables were neatly arranged, and each one has a tablet, so you can order and pay easily right there ✨

True to its status as kids' soul food, they have baby chairs and disposable bibs ready haha

Since the wang donkatsu (giant pork cutlet) portions are huge, they've set up a self-packing station in case any cutlet is left over. They even kindly explain how to enjoy it at home ☺️ The owner's thoughtfulness really shows 👍

What's at the Jinsim Wang Donkatsu self-serve bar?
After reading the self-serve bar instructions, let's try it out! There's water, extra side dishes, plates, spoons/forks/knives, napkins, bibs, scissors, tongs, and even kids' tableware. Remember to only take what you'll actually eat ⋆◡̎⋆

For extra sides there's pickled radish and cabbage kimchi. And a specialty of Jinsim Wang Donkatsu — lettuce and ssamjang (seasoned soybean paste) for wrapping your cutlet in lettuce! This isn't included by default, so you have to grab it from the self-serve bar yourself — make sure you do, and enjoy the cutlet wraps too 🧡
Kids' tableware is at the very top!
And the self-serve bar has my favorite cream soup too — it's clearly popular haha. It's got that old-school soup flavor everyone from kids to grandparents loves. Sprinkle on pepper to taste ✨

Udon broth and water are also self-serve, so use the water dispenser!
Basic tableware is set at the table, and kids' tableware is available at the self-serve bar.
Menu and prices: the three dishes we ordered
Here's the Jinsim Wang Donkatsu menu. It ranges from the ₩10,900 wang donkatsu to cheese cutlet, kimchi nabe, jjolmyeon (spicy chewy noodles), udon, naengmyeon (cold noodles), cold soba, bibimbap, curry rice bowl, and sides like tteokbokki, fried dumplings, and bingsu (shaved ice)! Prices overall run from noodles in the ₩8,000s to cutlets in the low-to-mid ₩10,000s, so you can order several dishes without feeling burdened!
You can also get a drink through the Naver receipt review event, so make sure to participate 👍
We ordered the Jinsim Wang Donkatsu (₩10,900), shrimp tempura udon (₩8,900), and cold soba (₩8,900) — ₩28,700 total.

The owner saw my 5-year-old son and gave him a drink on the house 🥹 He was so happy about it 💕 It was a drink I'd never tried before, and honestly it was tasty even for me haha. He was thirsty right at that moment, so the thoughtful gift meant so much..💓

We first brought over soup, kimchi, and pickled radish from the self-serve bar. Sprinkled on some pepper too, and it curbed our hunger while waiting for the food~~ It was a nostalgic taste I hadn't had in a while haha

The food came out in under 10 minutes! The table was piled high. True to its name, the wang donkatsu (giant pork cutlet) was as big as the cold soba bowl haha. Since my kid would be eating it, I asked for the sauce on the side.

Jinsim Wang Donkatsu giant pork cutlet, 10,900 won
True to its name, the size is enormous — and I loved that it wasn't just big but paper-thin; it actually had decent thickness, so you could really feel the meat texture when chewing. The breading was crispy without being excessive, so even my kid ate it well. There's cabbage salad and a chili pepper on the side, and when things get a little greasy, a bite of the chili dipped in ssamjang cuts right through it and refreshes your mouth. Now I get why chili peppers come with donkatsu haha — they pair perfectly!
Shrimp tempura udon, 8,900 won
The giant shrimp is visually stunning right off the bat, and the portion of udon is huge too — plenty even for a grown man to feel full off one bowl. The broth is clean, and it's packed with fish cake, including cute little fish-shaped ones haha. Right up my alley 🧡 There's even a boiled egg floating in it, making it very filling ✨

Cold soba buckwheat noodles, 8,900 won
I'm still dealing with some morning sickness, so I was craving something cold and refreshing, and luckily they had cold soba, so that's why I ordered it. As soon as it arrived, I drank the icy broth with slush floating in it first haha. The cold soba portion was also huge, and they give you disposable wasabi separately — I didn't notice it at first and just ate without it, but once I found it and added it in, that's when I finally tasted proper cold soba. Don't forget like I did — add the wasabi from the start for the best flavor 💛

My kid said it was so delicious and dug in happily along with his drink haha. He's normally a slow eater with cutlet, but I kept cutting more pieces because he seemed to like it, and he polished it off quickly 😃 Seeing him eat so well made me really proud ❤️
