Flowerpot Cafe: a Gojan-dong bakery café across from AW Wedding Hall

After breakfast on the weekend, my husband, our baby Syu and I headed over to Flowerpot, a dessert spot in Gojan-dong :) Flowerpot bakery café is really great to visit with a baby too. The place is huge and there are so many delicious breads that this is my nth visit. Especially recommended if you're heading to AW Wedding Hall on a weekend! It sits right across from the wedding hall, so it's perfect for chatting with your group after a ceremony ^^~

Arriving right at weekend opening for watermelon juice and an iced Americano

I visited Flowerpot, an Ansan dessert café, right as it opened on the weekend. Coffee upsets my stomach in the morning, so I ordered a real 100% watermelon juice to share with the baby, while my husband did his usual no-questions-asked iced Americano! Not sure if saying 'no-questions-asked' these days makes me sound old haha — well, I guess I am. They also sell red bean bingsu, injeolmi bingsu, and mango bingsu, so if you want to get some bingsu content in before it gets colder, head on over to Flowerpot in Gojan-dong.

What bread does Flowerpot Cafe bake? A display case that's hard to choose from

I got there so early right at opening that you can see some empty spots in the display, but honestly everything at Flowerpot, a dessert spot in Gojan-dong, is delicious, so it's the kind of place that gives you decision paralysis. I like bread but I'm not usually the type to buy a ton of it. But last time I went with friends and we ordered a huge variety, and wow, it made me realize — oh, I actually really love bread. That's the kind of café Flowerpot in Gojan-dong is. Next time I really need to try the garlic bread ㅠㅠ it looks delicious just from the photo.

There are sandwiches too, not just bread, so it's also a good spot for a sandwich with a coffee. At Flowerpot, the dessert spot in Gojan-dong, you just put your bread on a tray and pay at the register. I love sandwiches, but the guys in my family each picked their own bread already, so I skipped the sandwich this time and just did the bread run at Flowerpot in Gojan-dong.

Why Flowerpot Cafe works with a baby: 2,000-won organic juice and baby chairs

Inside the fridge there's a variety of cakes, and they sell organic juice for babies at ₩2,000, so it's really convenient to bring a baby along. There's also a baby chair, and the café is spacious, making it a great Gojan-dong café to visit with a baby.

Flowerpot, the dessert spot in Gojan-dong, has a large, clean store, which I love. Best of all, there's an indoor restroom, which is amazing when you're with a baby! Just a heads up that Flowerpot in Gojan-dong gets super busy on weekends.

How do the mango wakppu salt bread and brownie taste?

Our order arrived. We got the mango wakppu salt bread and the brownie. The mango wakppu salt bread was actually picked by the baby — wait, turns out after feeding it to him, it was the chocolate one lol. My husband, who loves sweets, also devoured the brownie happily.

Anyone who loves wakppu, gather here. That crust is seriously hard but the chocolate inside is amazing,, unexpectedly got a proper sugar boost first thing in the morning and did some serious parenting after!!

Iced Americano with no acidity, watermelon juice pressed from fresh fruit

A drink shot I took mid-meal when it occurred to me. The iced Americano at Flowerpot, the dessert café in Gojan-dong, had no acidity, which suited my taste, and the watermelon juice was fresh fruit juice, which the baby and I enjoyed a lot together.
