Jamsil dessert shop farewell rabbit lunchbox cake: Circus Rabbit
In short
Circus Rabbit is a custom lettering cake shop on basement level 1 of the Jangmi Jonghap B Complex near Jamsillaru Station in Songpa, Seoul. To celebrate a former coworker's last day at work, the writer booked the lovely cake design No. 10 rabbit lunchbox cake through KakaoTalk and picked it up, and the cake matched the reference photo exactly. The sheet was moist, the homemade raspberry sauce kept it light, and unmanned pickup after closing made the whole order easy.

It was September, and I got a cake ready to celebrate a close former coworker's last day! The owner was so kind and made a cute, pretty cake — here's my review of Circus Rabbit, a Jamsil, Songpa custom lettering cake spot I really enjoyed. Let's go!!
How do you order a cake from Circus Rabbit?
You can book Circus Rabbit through Naver or KakaoTalk. I reserved my lunchbox cake via KakaoTalk! You just fill out the order form and send it over.
- Naver Reservation lets you book quickly and easily, but without design changes
- Lunchbox cake size: 10cm diameter, serves 2
- Cake flavors: milk, raspberry, Oreo

They had so many reference designs, which was great since I was ordering on short notice! I picked the third page's lovely-cake design No. 10.

Besides lunchbox cakes, they can also make cakes in various other sizes, just FYI.
Directions to Circus Rabbit on basement level 1 of the Jangmi complex

Finally, pickup day!! Circus Rabbit, this Jamsil, Songpa lettering cake spot, is about a 7-minute walk from Jamsillaru Station Exit 3. There are a lot of shops tucked into the basement of Building B of the Jangmi commercial complex, so it can be tricky to find on your first visit! The owner actually posted directions on their blog — worth checking before you go!!
If you're driving, you can use the Jangmi complex parking lot. Parking is free for 30 minutes.
Let me show you the route I took on foot! Once you walk into Jangmi Building B, there's a security guard sitting right on the right, and behind them is a stairway down to the basement. Head straight down there.

Once you're in the basement, you'll see Songbong Kalguksu — keep going straight and you'll spot Kim's Cookie!

Past Kim's Cookie, head further in and you'll see a water dispenser and a shop called Shibuya!

Go further past Shibuya, past Yeonnam Bunsik and Hwanhui Bunsik, and Circus Rabbit is tucked in further back! I took this route, but apparently you can also come down the stairs at Exit 8 next to the parking lot exit of Jangmi Building B, or via the stairs to the right of Hyundai Realty. If you're driving, turn right right after the parking lot entrance and park near the parking lot exit — that's the closest spot, FYI. If you're not sure where you are, there are security guards posted around who you can ask! I asked around a bit myself and made it there fine!!
Arrived at Circus Rabbit!! Looks like they were selected as an outstanding shop in Songpa-gu, Seoul by the Korea Consumer Industry Evaluation.
Inside Circus Rabbit and how unmanned pickup works

Let's take a look inside! There's a sign explaining how to do unmanned pickup. Just follow those instructions.
⏰ Circus Rabbit opening hours
- Closed every Sun and Mon
- Tue: 2pm–4pm
- Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat: open 10am–4pm
- Unmanned pickup hours — Tue/Wed/Thu/Fri: after closing time until before 9pm

Here are the cake pickup instructions!
Things to know before ordering
- The cake tastes best eaten on pickup day or the next day.
- Refrigerate the cake as soon as possible after pickup.
- There's no pin to secure the cake while carrying it, so be careful.
- For cakes with fresh flowers, the flowers are sanitized but not edible — remove them before eating.
- The pearl beads on top of the cake are made of sugar and are edible.
- All of Circus Rabbit's cakes use 100% dairy whipped cream, and even the sponge is baked in-house. No emulsifiers, preservatives, or chemical additives!
- A cooling pack costs an extra ₩2,000, so bringing your own cooler box or insulated bag with a cooling pack helps cut down on waste.
FYI, they give out candles if you write a Naver photo review. There were lots of cute options, like number candles and character candles.

Besides custom cakes, they also sell bottle cakes and fig sando (sandwich cookies).

If no staff is around when you arrive, just press the call bell. Cake collected!! They tied a pretty ribbon on it too!

The rabbit lunchbox cake chosen for a coworker's last day
Such a cute rabbit cake! After agonizing over which design to pick, I went with the rabbit cake from the reference photos. This design felt just right for a farewell cake — because leaving is basically bounding off, right? It's a rabbit cake made with a junior colleague's heart, celebrating a coworker who "hopped away" successfully, just like a rabbit. It came out exactly like the reference, which made me happy, and since it's a lunchbox cake, it was easy to eat and celebrate with, simply.
🎂Handing over the farewell cake🎁
We lit the candles and celebrated at our third stop, a noraebang (karaoke room)! I guess I tilted it without realizing — the front got a little messed up...
I took a bite and the sponge was soft and moist, just melting in my mouth! And there was homemade raspberry sauce layered in between, too! The tart-sweet raspberry flavor kept it from feeling heavy, so I could eat it cleanly without getting sick of it.
Is Circus Rabbit worth it? Final verdict
- The owner is kind.
- The cake tastes great.
- They make cakes exactly as pretty and cute as you want.
- Unmanned pickup available even after closing hours (16:00–21:00)
- They make everything from simple lunchbox cakes to large custom cakes.
- 100% dairy whipped cream, handmade sponge, no emulsifiers, preservatives, or chemical additives
The owner was kind, and the cake came out exactly as cute and pretty as the reference photo — I left really satisfied. Thanks to them, the farewell party went off perfectly!! If you're looking for a custom lettering cake shop in Jamsil, Songpa, how about giving Circus Rabbit a try~
