Decaf cold brew by the liter at Ward Coffee, a Gusan Station café

I visited Ward Coffee near Gusan Station, a café famous for giving you the whole 1L bottle when you order 1L coffee, plus great desserts.

Inside Ward Coffee: three two-seat tables

The interior isn't huge, but it's cozy, and there are three two-seat tables so you can sit and eat if you want.

There's also a receipt photo booth you can use while waiting for your drink. My friend Dongdong and I took a photo together — nice keepsake!

Wi-Fi is available of course, and they had an event going on too!

This Gusan Station café really has a huge menu. So many coffees, so many desserts — I stood there forever deciding lol.

What I ordered at Ward Coffee and what it cost

After a lot of deliberation, I ordered a 1L bottle cold brew (decaf) for ₩8,400, two original milk ice creams at ₩1,900 each, stick churros for ₩3,800, and an apple cream waffle for ₩3,800. I switched the cold brew to decaf, picked chocolate sauce for the churros, and kept the cream on the waffle standard.

The churros and waffle take about 7–10 minutes after ordering, and the coffee and ice cream came out timed together with them.

1L bottle cold brew, decaf — 8,400 won

The moment I saw Ward Coffee's 1L bottle, it was so cute I couldn't not order it lol. And even better — this bottle isn't returned, you get to take it home!

It's bigger than expected, but it has a good grip so it's easy to carry around and sip.

You just pop a straw in and drink, and the coffee itself tasted great too! Moderately bitter, nutty, with a bit of acidity — a really tasty cold brew.

Original milk ice cream — 1,900 won

What I was most curious about at this Ward Coffee was the ice cream, and it wasn't just plain milk flavor — it was a soft-serve with a vanilla fragrance, and it was delicious!

It's a sweet vanilla ice cream that pretty much anyone would like, no love-it-or-hate-it here.

The texture had a slight icy crunch while still being soft, perfect for a hot day.

At ₩1,900 the portion was generous too, so I thought it was great value.

Stick churros with chocolate sauce — 3,800 won

The menu with churros plus sauce is called "stick churros." You can choose chocolate, blueberry, or strawberry sauce — obviously I picked chocolate lol.

Zero bad oily taste from the churros — crispy, sweet, delicious. The cinnamon aroma was just the right amount too — nice!

The chocolate sauce was rich and sweet too, and the combo together was insane, seriously.

But then add the ice cream on top? Heaven.

Honestly, the churros+chocolate+ice cream combo is way better together, so if you order stick churros, definitely order ice cream too!

Apple cream waffle — 3,800 won

Dongdong wanted to try this so we ordered the apple cream waffle! There's a scoop of whipped cream on the waffle with a generous amount of apple jam drizzled around it.

Not the crispy style — more soft and chewy — and this place is a waffle spot too! Good churros AND good waffles means this really is a dessert café lol.

As expected, adding ice cream makes it even better.

I was hungry so I thought maybe I ordered too much, but it was all so good we finished every bite lol.

Is Ward Coffee Gusan Station Branch worth a visit?

If you're looking for a great value coffee and dessert spot, come here!

It doesn't make sense that the coffee, drinks, and desserts are this good at this price. The 1L bottle coffee had great flavor, but I was also surprised by how nice the bottle itself was.

For desserts, if I had to pick, I'd say the churros were my favorite, while Dongdong preferred the waffle — just shows it's all delicious, down to personal taste! I loved both the coffee and desserts, so whenever I'm near this Gusan Station café again, I'm definitely coming back. Would visit again!!!
