Late-night pizza bar near Jeju Airport with beer: Dough Rider Pizza

In short

Dough Rider Pizza is an aged-dough pizza restaurant and pizza-and-beer bar on Inda 8-gil in Jeju City, near Jeju Airport, open until 22:00. On the last night of the trip the writer ordered the Cowboy Shrimp Kick L (29,500 won), and the cilantro sauce the owner made on the spot balanced out the spicy chili flavor. It was the best meal of a three-day trip to Jeju, and Dough Rider Pizza is worth a return visit.

Hi, this is food editor Susan :) On our last night in Jeju I was craving pizza, and I found Dough Rider Pizza, a spot known for aging their own dough. I went and tried it — honestly the best pizza I had anywhere in Jeju, and it's a great place to pair with a drink too, so let me introduce it!

Where is Dough Rider Pizza and what are its hours?

Dough Rider Pizza is located at 29 Inda 8-gil, 1st floor, Unit 101, Jeju-si, Jeju — a spot that's easy to reach by car from Jeju Airport. Hours are Wednesday through Monday, 11:30–22:00, with last order at 21:30, and the restaurant is closed every Tuesday.

Where to park near Dough Rider Pizza

For parking at Dough Rider Pizza, just use the public parking lot about 1 minute on foot from the store! If you put the store name into your navigation, you'll see it right away.

When I first typed the address in, it took me somewhere else, so I'd recommend navigating to the store name directly instead. When we visited, the public parking lot was free!

American-style interior and seating at Dough Rider Pizza

The moment we walked in I let out an "oh!" — the place is full of American-style decor, which made it a great atmosphere for drinking beer too.

Dining area with wood-tone interior and lighting

The wood-tone interior, the lighting, and the American-style posters plastered here and there made for a really charming atmosphere inside.

There was a nice variety of tables — a 1-person bar table, 2-person tables, 4-person sofa seats, and an 8-person group table. None of it felt uniform; each spot had its own charm, so it was fun picking where to sit.

A bar atmosphere built for pizza and beer

This is also a great place to have a drink with your meal — it's open until 22:00, and there's a wide variety of drinks: draft beer, bottled beer, tequila, and more. Pizza and beer, the truth of life, right? Highly recommend it if you're in the mood for that combo.

Self-bar stocked with pickles and sauces

And true to a real pizza place, the self-bar was stocked with plain pickles, jalapeño pickles, pickled peppers, chili sauce, parmesan powder, and more! There was also a water dispenser, so if you want water you don't need to buy it separately.

We ordered the Cowboy Shrimp Kick L for ₩29,500 and a Zero Cider for ₩3,000.

Since this place is known for its dough, we didn't change the edge, but you can upgrade to a double cheese edge for ₩3,000!

How does the Cowboy Shrimp Kick L (29,500 won) taste?

Can you see how it looks? The moment it arrived I let out a genuine "wow." And no wonder — the crust edge was beautifully golden-brown, and the toppings were seriously generous.

The owner asked us while making the pizza if we could eat cilantro, and when we said we loved it, he made us a cilantro sauce that went perfectly with the pizza we'd ordered — and this was really the kicker!

Cilantro sauce made by the owner

There were 6 slices total, each topped with a plump shrimp and a dollop of sour cream sauce. That sour cream sauce added a tangy note to what could have just been a spicy pizza, giving it a much richer, more layered flavor.

And can you see how generous the cheese was?! The cheese was loaded on, and since the dough is house-aged, it was chewy and clean-tasting — but with the homemade sauce on top, it wasn't a flavor I'd had before, it was something new!

I told myself I'd only eat two slices since I was full, but I ended up eating all three of my share. I love tacos, and this Cowboy Shrimp Kick felt like a taco turned into a pizza, which made it even more delicious. The spicy chili flavor had a real smoky kick, and my husband said it reminded him exactly of eating grilled spicy chicken feet!

What is the aged dough like?

I wanted to show you the dough properly, so I split it in half and took a photo of the inside. You can see in the photo how chewy the crust is, right? Not dry at all! It almost felt like eating focaccia.

And like I said, the cilantro sauce was the kicker! The herbal note of the cilantro balanced perfectly against the spicy chili flavor — that was the moment this pizza became a proper dish.

If you love tacos, love spicy food, or love cilantro, you have to try the Cowboy Shrimp Kick I ordered. You won't regret it!!

Generous toppings, plenty of cheese — honestly, everything about it was perfect!

Is Dough Rider Pizza worth your last dinner in Jeju?

Honestly, my husband and I both said this was the tastiest place we ate at during our 2-night, 3-day trip to Jeju! We had it as our last dinner before heading to Jeju Airport, and it turned out to be such a great choice.

The quality was clearly different, probably because they make their sauces and age their dough fresh every day! It was so good that next time I want to book a stay nearby and enjoy it with drinks too!! If you're looking for a great pizza place in Jeju, you have to visit :) 100 out of 100 chance I'll be back.
